PROCEEDINGS
A General Meeting of the Institute was held in the Scots Church Hall, Russell. Street, Melbourne, on the evening of 28th August, 1941. The President, Mr. E. H. G. Morris, occupied the chair.
Minutes of the previous General Meeting were confirmed.
Messrs. Lucian Alfred Hayes, Clifford James Innes Newstead, and Roy Alexander Newstead were admitted as Members, and William Cyril Jewell was admitted as a Junior Member.
Mr. ED. C. WATSON then read a paper entitled "Notes on Engineering Shop Management." Members showed their appre- ciation by according the lecturer a vote of thanks by acclamation.
After a brief discussion, the meeting terminated with light refreshments.
