The aim was to erect a shed at Biloela Research Station for use by the cotton breeding program for ginning, storage, and acid delinting samples.

During the past five years there has been an expansion in the cotton

breeding program at the Biloela Research Station. The existing facilities for ginning, storage and acid delinting samples was inadequate.

A tender for erection of the shed was let in April 1986.

The shed was completed in July 1986 and was used for the remaining ginning and acid delinting for the 1985-86 season.
