Project Objective: A new project with the objectives of:
• to supply equipment to accurately weigh cotton from field trips.
• to assist regional adaptive research including implementation of the CRDC Variety Trials Protocol.
Report: Five sets of weigh cells and ancilliary equipment were purchased.
These augment facilities already in place in some regions. The new scales are located at Dalby; Moree (two sets to cover irrigated and raingrown trials); Narrabri (to assist upper Namoi trials); Warren.
