ROYALTIES FOR REGIONS INVESTMENT MAP – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What does the map include?

The map is a representation of all projects that have received Royalties for Regions funding across regional Western Australia since the program began in 2008.

While every effort has been made to capture and locate all Royalties for Regions investment, it is possible that not all projects are available or captured accurately on the map. Projects that span across multiple regions and towns or are service based are difficult to locate geographically.

If something is missing, or doesn’t look right, please let us know at [email protected].

How often is the map updated?

The investment data will be updated regularly to include new investments as they are approved.

Can I change the view of my map?

Yes, you can. You can view the map via the default Satellite Imagery view or by changing to Street view in the top left corner of the map.

How can I search for a project?

You can search for Royalties for Regions projects by:

 Selecting ‘Project Search’ in the side bar and typing in a project name

 Drilling down by themes such as Health, Tourism or Agriculture

 Typing in a location in the search field on the map or by simply zooming in on your town on the map.

What do the icons mean?

All Royalties for Regions projects have been assigned a theme or category that best describes the desired project outcome or impact. The icons represent the various project themes.

Does this information include State-wide programs?

Yes. Where possible, projects have been assigned a specific location on the map.

However, projects that have an impact across a whole local government area or region or the State are reflected in the ‘Statewide and Regional Projects’ tab located on the sidebar.

The ‘Statewide and Regional Projects’ will update to only display those projects relevant to the area of the State being viewed.

I would like to update the details of a project, what can I do?

If you have any concerns about a project or location please get in touch via email at [email protected].

We appreciate your feedback!
