What you need to do
Registration
School RTOs need to register for the SIT12 qualifications prior to offering or delivering them.
School RTOs currently registered for the superseded Hospitality, Tourism and Events qualification/s
School RTOs must complete and send an Application to change RTO scope of registration form available at www.qsa.qld.edu.au/12264.html. This needs to done as soon as possible because:
• no new students can be enrolled in the superseded qualifications (from SIT07) after 17 January 2014
• school RTOs cannot deliver the superseded qualifications after 18 July 2014.
School RTOs that request units significantly different from those already on scope may be asked to supply supplementary evidence before registration.
Once registered for a new qualification, students may be transitioned from the superseded qualification to the new version. This is essential for students who will not be expected to complete the superseded qualification before 18 July 2014.
School RTOs not currently registered for the superseded Hospitality, Tourism and Events qualification/s
School RTOs must complete and send an Application to change RTO scope of registration form
available at www.qsa.qld.edu.au/12264.html. You will be required to attach evidence to your application as indicated in the Application to change RTO scope of registration – evidence guidelines, which is also available at www.qsa.qld.edu.au/12264.html.
