T E M P O R A R Y R E G U L A T I O N A . N o t w i t h s t a n d i n g a n y t h i n g t o t h e c o n t r a r y contained in t h e S t a t u t e s a n d R e g u l a t i o n s now in force t h e following increased scale of fees shall apply for one y e a r from t h e respective d a t e s hereinafter specified :—

F o r a n y degree of Bachelor d i r e c t or ad eundem

£1 7s.

To come i n t o force on t h e first day of M a y 1903.

F o r admission to t h e M a t r i c u l a t i o n E x a m i n a t i o n 12s. 6d.

F o r each subject selected 6s.

To come i n t o force on t h e first day of J a n u a r y 1903.

F o r each year of t h e degree of

Bachelor of A r t s a n increase of t h r e e guineas Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery

an increase of two guineas

Bachelor of Civil M i n i n g or Electrical Engineer- ing an increase of two guineas.

F o r each of t h e first and second years of t h e Degree of Bachelor of L a w s a n increase of t h r e e guineas.

F o r t h e first year of t h e Degree of Bachelor of Science a n increase of t w o guineas.

F o r Single Subjects in A r t s Medicine a n d Engineer- ing F i r s t Y e a r Science F i r s t and Second Y e a r L a w s a n increase of one guinea for each subject.

T E M P O R A R Y R E G U L A T I O N B . 1. The sum prescribed by the Statutes or Regula- tions of the University as the value of any Prize Exhibition or Scholarship shall be diminished by 20 per cent.

2. This Regulation shall apply to Prizes, Exhibi- tions or Scholarships provided from the General Fund of the University only. This Regulation shall not apply to the Matriculation Exhibitions pres- cribed by Regulation I. Division vi.

3. This Regulation shall come into force on the first day of May 1903 and shall remain in force for one year.

T E M P O R A R Y R E G U L A T I O N C . Notwithstanding anything to the contrary con- tained in the Statutes and Regulations, the income accruing from the Stawell Scholarship Fund during the year 1903 may be applied to the awarding of the Exhibition in Second Year Engineering of the value of Twenty Pounds and of the Exhibition in Third Year Engineering of the value of Twenty-Four Pounds, and such Exhibitions shall be called Stawell Exhibitions.

Nothwithstanding anything to the contrary con-

tained in the Statutes and Regulations the income

accruing from the Argus Scholarship Fund may be

applied to the awarding of a Scholarship of Fifty

Pounds at the Final Honours Examination in

February 1904 in such subjects as may be fixed by

the Faculty of Engineering.
