Coming up: AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the Toowoomba Masters AUSSI Inc. is scheduled for 8.45am on Sunday 6th March.
Come along after swimming and support your club. It is an opportunity to hear about the club’s achievements and show your appreciation for the work of the committee. The President will announce the “swimmer of the year 2015” at the meeting.
If you are interested in being a part of the committee for the year ahead, have a chat with the current members and offer your services by completing a nomi- nation form (attached at the end of the newsletter.) Don’t be shy!
There will be a BBQ breaky to follow the meeting.
Endurance co-ordinators
Grant approved
Toowoomba Tadpoles was fortunate to have a grant approved for
$4285 for the year ahead. This is to be used for Bronze and Grey Medallion training, swim meet programs and equipment.
Thanks to Shayne Baker for preparing the successful application.
Qualified coaches
Did you know that we have some qualified coaches available to give advice on your swimming training?
On Thursday nights Nick is “on deck” and happy to help with any swimming questions.
Wayne is rostered “on deck” regularly and happy to give advice to assist your swimming.
He has also prepared a special program for keen swimmers who can use specific lanes to prepare for upcoming competitions such as the Pan Pacific Masters Games.
Barefoot bowls and Christmas BBQ
Another successful gathering was held in December to finish the year for the Tadpoles.
An afternoon game of bowls and BBQ was a great way for members and their families to get together and have fun out of the pool.
And a good time was had by all...

Please remember, to swim with our club (and with all Masters Swimming Clubs) you need to be covered by insurance, which for members, is included in the membership fee, and for non-members is included for up to one month during the one month trial period.
Fees for 2016 are: 12 months Standard membership $87.00 12 months Health Care Card Holder $74.00
