34;bus" means a motor vehicle which is basically designed to carry more than 8 seated adults, including the driver; 34;tandem axle group" means a group of 2 axles where the distance between the axles is not less than 1 meter but not more from 2 meters;.
Division 1-Roads general
2.11 (1) Subject to regulation 2.12, a person must not construct additional works or encroachments on a designated road except in accordance with the prior written consent of the Corporation. 2.13 {1) If additional works and encroachments on a designated road do not comply with these regulations or the approval (if applicable) of the Company, the Company may, by notice in writing to the owner of the additional works and encroachments, require the change. or removal of the additional works and infringements within the period specified in the notification.

PART 3-VEHICLE LIMITS Vehicle tare
§ 3.03 (1) The axle mass of a vehicle may, without limiting any other method of determination, be determined-. a) in the case of a single axle that is not part of a group of axles - by simultaneous weighing with the tires of the axle on a weighing device; and. b) in the case of a group of axles - when weighing with tires of the axle group simultaneously on a weighing device. For the purpose of this rule, the axle mass, if an axle is equipped with dual tires, can be determined by placing only the outer tires on the weighing device.

REGISTRATION Division !-Registration
4.02 (1) The company must keep records in the vehicle register, which includes-. a) in relation to each registered vehicle – (i) registration number; and (ii) vehicle information; and. iii) name and address of the person in whose name the vehicle is registered; and. iv) registration period; and. 4.04 (1) The company must, upon request submitted in accordance with regulation (3), exempt from payment of the prescribed fee for vehicle registration-. a) a vehicle owned and used exclusively by a charity registered under the Collection Act 1966; and. 4.08 (1) Registration or renewal of vehicle registration is valid on the basis of the company's confirmation of payment.
4.11 (1) The owner of a registered vehicle must attach the license plate issued for the vehicle to the vehicle within 14 days of a) issuance of a registration sticker upon first registration; or (b) the expiry of the previous registration period; or 4.13 (1) A person shall not manufacture a replacement 'Q' plate except with the written approval of the Corporation and in accordance with the Corporation's written specifications. 2) A 'Q' plate produced in accordance with regulation (1) shall be deemed to have been issued by the company. 4.14 (1) The Company may issue a personalized license plate – (a) upon receipt of an application in the approved form and payment. prescribed plate fees; and.
4.15 (1) A person whose name and address are currently on the Vehicle Register must notify the Company of full details of the change within 14 days of any change of name or address.
Division 2-Renewal, Transfer and Cancellation of Registration
§ 4.18 Subsection 1. A person who acquires a registered vehicle pursuant to a legal process must notify the company in the approved form within 7 days of acquiring the vehicle. 1. The registration of a vehicle can be canceled upon written request from the owner, if the vehicle-. a) held by a dealer for sale; or (b) has been stolen or destroyed; or (c) has been removed from the State; or (d) has ceased to be used on a road. § 4.20 Subsection 3. When applying for cancellation or receiving notice of cancellation from the Company, an owner must return to the Company-. a) the registration mark; and (b) the license plate;.
Division 3-Visitors Vehicles registered elsewhere
4.21 (ii) in the case of a vehicle registered in another State or Territory or the Commonwealth - under a contract of insurance made under a law of the State, Territory or Commonwealth which is substantially similar to the Motor Vehicle Insurance Act 1936; and. f) the person complies with the law of the State, Territory, Commonwealth or foreign country authorizing the use of the vehicle on a road in so far as it can be applied in Queensland;. g) the person can, on request by an authorized officer for inspection-. i) an overseas vehicle permit issued under subregulation (2);. ii) the authorization to use the vehicle on a road issued under the law of the State, Territory or Commonwealth.
Division 4-Limited Use Permits and Plates
(1) The Company may authorize the limited use of an unregistered vehicle on the road by issuing a limited use license plate to the person applying.
Division 5-Dealer's Plates
4.26 (1) A person shall not use or allow to be used on the road a vehicle with a dealer plate attached, unless the vehicle-. a) is used to present the vehicle for the purpose of selling it; or b) is delivered to the buyer after the sale; or c) travels to or from a paint shop, repairs or engine body building, or is used for subsequent testing; or of the company, unless the person has notified the company in writing of its loss, theft or destruction.
Division 6-General Replacements
(1) The Corporation may, at any time, by notice in writing setting out the Corporation's reasons, require a person to whom a plate of any kind specified in column 1 of Schedule 2 has been issued, t 'surrender the number plates to the Corporation within the time specified in the notice so that the Corporation may exchange the plate for another plate if-. a) the license plate is obscene or indecent in any way; or (b) the Corporation changes the specifications in which the number. 4.31 (1) A dealer or a person acting on behalf of the dealer must not deliver a vehicle (other than another dealer) at a sale unless an application for registration has been made in accordance with regulation 4.03. 4.32 (1) If the authorized officer believes on reasonable grounds that an offense has been committed against a regulation set out in column 1 of Schedule 3, the authorized officer may serve, or cause to be served, a penalty notice. a) be in an approved form; and.
Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Regulations 1991 reg. ii) such further time as the Corporation allows, before or after the end of that period of 28 days; and (g) clearly indicate the place in which the prescribed penalty can be imposed. For the purposes of this regulation, the prescribed penalty for a misdemeanor is the amount determined-. b) in column 3 of the list for another offense committed within 5 years after the commission of another such offense; in any case corresponding to the regulation defined in column 1 of the list. In any proceeding initiated in connection with the criminal offense- (a) the statutory declaration is admissible in evidence; and (b) is evidence that the person was in charge of the vehicle at the time. time, or was the owner of the vehicle at that time, as the case may be.
A document purporting to be a statutory declaration made under this Regulation is a statutory declaration, duly made and given, unless the contrary is proved.
PART 5-MISCELLANEOUS
5.02 (1) The Corporation may require a person, when applying for a permit or approval under Part 2, 3 or 5, to deposit an amount reasonably required by the Corporation as security for—. a) compliance with the terms and conditions of the permit or approval; and. 5.03 (1) The Corporation may serve a written notice on a person if it finds that the correct amount required under Part 4 of these regulations has not been paid by the person. a) specify the exact amount to be paid; and. 5.05 (3) If the amount specified in the notice is not paid within 28 days after the date of the notice-. i) the vehicle specified in the notice or, in the case of a dealer's license plate, a vehicle with a dealer's license plate attached, on the road; or. ii) the certificate, registration tag, plate or vehicle permit issued in respect of a vehicle; and (b) the person must return to the Corporation-. i) registration label; and (ii) number plate;. unless the person notifies the Corporation in writing of the loss, theft or destruction of the registration tag or plate.
5.04 (1) Costs incurred or damages suffered by the Corporation in breach of these regulations, or in doing work required by these regulations to be executed by a person and not being executed, shall be paid by the person who commits the breach or failure to perform the work. 2) If the costs or damages are not paid by the person within 28 days after service of the notice of demand by the Corporation, the amount may be recovered by action in a court of competent jurisdiction as a debt owed to the Corporation. 5.05 (1) The authorized officer may request the person responsible for the vehicle to state, to the best of the person's knowledge, the name and address of the owner of the vehicle. 2) An authorized officer may require the owner or person in charge of the vehicle to remove a certificate, registration tag, license plate or. For the purposes of this regulation, a certificate, registration tag, plate or permit refers to a certificate, registration tag, plate or permit issued by the Corporation or under the law of another state, territory, Commonwealth or foreign country . .
SCHEDULE 1 FEES
1 Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Regulations 1991 Sch. a) RGVM does not exceed 4 charges as prescribed for passenger car tonnes. 1 motor vehicle (excluding 50% of the fee calculated on the basis of the motorcycle or mobile part of the 1st machine or equipment) registered in the name of the Queensland Senior Citizens Authority Cardholder, in circumstances determined in writing by the Company. A motor vehicle (excluding a $36.00 commercial vehicle, . motorized caravan or bus, each with an RGVM or RGCM exceeding 4 tonnes, or mobile machinery or equipment), in circumstances determined in writing by the Company.
Commercial vehicle, 25% of the fee calculated under a semi-motorized caravan or bus 1, or $36.00, whichever is higher, on each with an RGVM or RGCM.
