GENERAL INFORMATION FOR CUSTOMERS.

WHEN ORDERING give Full Name (not initials only), Postal Address, and state whether Mr., Mrs., or Miss. When residing at a distance from the station or port, give instructions for forwarding; and state clearly the Size, Cól

ticulars of all Goods required. In cases where the Articles needed are not shown or priced in our Catalogues or Advertise- ments, an allowance to cover their cost may be made in the remittance. Any balance left over will be returned with the bills, or placed on credit, as desired.

OUR TERMS OF BUSINESS are prompt NET CASH; a remittance covering cost of goods should therefore accompany the order. Always mention amount of remittance sent.

REMITTANCES may be made by

MONEY ORDERS,

CHEQUES, BANK DRAFTS or POSTAL NOTES.

POSTAL NOTES and MONEY ORDERS should be made payable to FOY & GIBSON PTY. LTD., COLLINGWOOD P.O. For amounts not exceeding 2/6, STAMPS in sheets may be sent. Loose stamps, or stamps over 6d. each, we cannot accept. Letters containing money or other valuables should be registered as security against loss. The cost of registration is only 3d.

CARRIAGE CHARGES—We do not pay carriage. Com- parison of our Values will at once convince all that it is false economy to pay higher prices, which include carriage rates.

OUR PRICES ARE ALL NET. Postage should therefore be included with the order, or carriage when it is to be prepaid.

Customers should include carriage on all goods for despatch by passenger train, otherwise the Railway Commissioners charge 25 per cent, over the ordinary rates. Packages under 141bs.

weight will only be accepted by the railway authorities for despatch by passenger train. Small parcels often go cheaper by post. By this means we are frequently able to save our customers needless expense. Customers omitting to include postage leave us no alternative but to send by rail.

In instances where damage, etc•, is suspected, the packages should be examined in the presenc e of the Railway officials.
