Please take note of the update schedule of BRAC University’s own affordable, safe and
comfortable transport service (buses with air conditioning) on six different routes across Dhaka city (applicable from Sunday, 24 September, 2023).

Service Availability : From Sunday to Thursday (except government holidays and semester break)
Fare : BDT 90 (Taka Ninety) for each passenger for each trip. For round trip (coming and going), BDT 180 (Taka One Hundred and Eighty) per route
Fare needs to be paid in cash
General Instructions
o Only designated stoppages will be used for pickup and drop off.
o Passengers are requested to be present at the designated bus stops AT LEAST five minutes before the scheduled boarding time. The bus will leave each stop on time.
o Passengers are to stay at a safe place while waiting for the bus and form a queue prior to boarding the bus.
o For assistance, such as to know the location of the bus, please contact the respective attendant: 01312-467316 (Abdullhpur route), 01700-926202 (Kallayanpur route), 01312- 467313 (Jigatola route), 01700-597095 (New Market route), 01700-877297 (Jatrabari route) and 01307-462100 (Baldha Garden route).
o The bus is for transporting students only. The passengers should display individual ID cards prior to boarding. In case of new students, please show photocopy of your payment receipt.
o Pickup and drop off tickets are available in the bus with the respective attendant.
o Seats will be available on “First come, First served” basis.
o All passengers must remain in their seats while the bus is in motion.
o Passengers should refrain from creating any kind of disturbance inside the bus that may distract the driver’s attention. If they must listen to music, personal headphones should be used.
o Smoking inside the bus is strictly prohibited.
o Carrying dangerous objects inside the bus is strictly prohibited.
o Pets are not allowed inside the bus.
o Throwing anything both inside and out of the bus at any time is strictly prohibited.
o C.C. cameras are installed inside the buses as a safety measure.
o All buses are under GPS coverage.
o If the service becomes unavailable due to unavoidable circumstances, passengers are requested to make travel arrangements to and from the university on their own.
o BRAC University authority reserves the right to change any route, stoppage, schedule and fare at any point of time.
