Bangladesh Agricultural University is the oldest and largest agriculture-based university in Bangladesh, which was established in 1961. It invites online applications from foreign students for admission into the following bachelor's degrees at the undergraduate level in the 2021-2022 session. The last date for application is 30 November 2022.

Important notes:
1. A foreign applicant must have completed twelve (12) years of schooling. Applicant must pass courses of science group equivalent to Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/
12th Grade) of Bangladesh with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology and obtained division/grade as those for HSC in Bangladesh.
2. The applicant must submit a scanned copy of all certificates and transcripts of 12th- grade educational qualification with the application.
3. Candidate shall have to submit an authorized health certificate as proof of his/her not being not suffering from any communicable/contagious disease or such disorders, mental or physical, which may impede his/her curricular activities at this University.
4. The applicant shall have to produce a certificate of proficiency in English.
5. The Dean of the respective Faculty will verify the Certificates and Transcripts and determine the applicant’s minimum standard of merit. Then he/she may be recommended for an admission test.
6. The Admission Committee of the respective Faculty will take the online admission test of the applicant.
7. Candidates who will pass the admission test will be sent an offer letter for admission.
8. After receiving the offer letter, the eligible candidate has to apply for admission in the prescribed form through the Bangladeshi Embassy in his/her country. The prescribed form has to be filled out properly and submitted along with the required documents to the Bangladeshi Embassy in his/her country.
9. After receiving the application form to the Bangladesh Agricultural University through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the candidate will be given a final letter for admission. After receiving the final letter, the candidate has to complete the admission process by appearing in person at Bangladesh Agricultural University on the scheduled date.
10. The candidate has to attest all academic certificates and mark sheets/transcripts from the Foreign/Education Ministry of his/her country and submit the original copy at the time of admission.
Fees for Foreign Students:
Admission fee (including 1st semester fee): 200 (Two hundred) US Dollars.
Semester fee (Every Semester): 50 (Fifty) US Dollars.
Other Fees (Every Semester): 50 (Fifty) US Dollars.
Accommodation:
There are students’ hostels/dormitories, the fees of which are very low. However, it is highly competitive. That’s why some of the foreign students stay in a group in nearby rented private apartments, which are also affordable.
