ISSUE 04 APRIL- JUNE
The Centre for Peace and Justice brings to you the fourth issue of the newsletter, highlighting the events from April to June. These months have been significantly busy where we have had many online discussions, webinars and workshops, also successfully celebrating the Bengali New Year, Eid ul Fitr, World Refugee Day and World Environment Day alongside conducting the regular activities of CPJ.
On World Refugee Day, a webinar on Power of Education for Better Security with the theme of ‘Right to Seek Safety’
was held to showcase the perpetual support towards the refugee community particularly the Rohingyas for whom the Refugee Studies Unit in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar was established.
CPJ looks forward to working together with community- based organisations and educational institutions to help promote global peace and social justice.
Wishing you a happy and prosperous Eid ul Adha in advance!
Kind Regards,
Manzoor Hasan OBE
