Centre for Peace and Justice (CPJ) of BRAC University is looking for a Senior Research Associate according to the Terms of Reference below.
Position Title: Senior Research Associate Reporting Line: Project Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Research Associate is expected to carry out the research activities of
“Empowered Women, Peaceful Communities: Preventing Violent Extremism Project” funded by UN Women.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Coordinate implementation of research project;
- Design mixed method research (research approach, sampling and analysis plan);
- Prepare data collection tools;
- Training of data collection team (enumerator, QCO and facilitator);
- Oversee primary data collection activities;
- Data Analysis (primarily quantitative, qualitative will be preferred);
- Writing reports and Presenting research findings;
- Organize dissemination events and advocacy activities;
- Provide assistance to the preparation of various monitoring report;
- Traveling in and outside Dhaka will be required;
- Any other assignments or duties related to project implementation.
Qualification:
- Completed post graduate degree from an accredited university at home or abroad preferably in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, sociology, or other related fields.
- 5 years of experience in similar position will be an advantage. CPJ is an equal opportunity employer and women are encouraged to apply.
