In making and preparing our project report, we would like to express our gratitude to several individuals for their tremendous help and extensive cooperation. First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to the university authority for allowing us to do this. our project. Finally, we would like to thank once again the faculty members and staff of the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, SU Sonargaon University for their support and assistance. By using this technique, we can save the lives of the people present in the building that is on fire.

As we all know, what will happen in this kind of situation is that the sprinklers will be turned on, but when the power supply is still on, there is a risk of short circuit and the fire will become more serious because of this reason. Here we have programmed so that the circuit in the building is triggered and then the sprinklers are turned on, so that the fire in the building is under control. Therefore, we will use exhaust fans to remove the smoke from the building. And for security reasons, we send SMS to an emergency number, and for confirmation there will also be a phone call and via this system the fire service and others. alarm service providers will be informed quickly.

And another advantage is that this technique is not only for new buildings, but it is easy to implement in an existing old building, without changing the design of the buildings. In addition, many industrial and residential buildings coexist in the same area without following the relevant regulations and preventive safety measures. Thus, it gradually creates a significant risk in terms of the physical and economic aspects of passengers.

Frequent fire hazards have recently occurred in mixed-use high-rise buildings in Bangladesh.

Arduino is an open-source prototyping platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. You can tell your board what to do by sending a series of instructions to the microcontroller on the board. For this you use the Arduino programming language and the Arduino Software (IDE), based on Processing.

The ATMEGA328P-PN is a popular microcontroller because it is an important component of the Arduino board products. The ATMEGA328P-PN is the 8-bit RISC heart of the Arduino Uno and Nano with a maximum clock frequency of 20MHz, 32KB program FLASH and 2KB RAM. A flame detector is a sensor designed to detect and respond to the presence of a flame or fire, enabling flame detection.

Responses to a detected flame depend on the installation, but may include sounding an alarm, disabling a fuel line (such as a propane or natural gas line), and activating a fire suppression system. When used in applications such as industrial furnaces, their role is to provide confirmation that the furnace is operating correctly; it can be used to shut down the ignition system, although in many cases they take no direct action beyond notifying the operator or control system. A flame detector can often respond faster and more accurately than a smoke or heat detector because of the mechanisms it uses to detect the flame.

It is a metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) type gas sensor, also known as Chemiresistors, as the detection is based on change of resistance of the sensing material when the gas comes into contact with the material. A GSM modem or GSM module is a hardware device that uses GSM cellular technology to provide a data link to a remote network. From the point of view of the mobile network, they are essentially identical to a regular mobile phone, including the need for a SIM to identify themselves to the network.

The SIM800L is a miniature cellular module that allows GPRS transmission, sending and receiving SMS and making and receiving voice calls.

DC motor is a rotating electrical machine that converts direct current electrical energy into mechanical energy. Once the motor is on, it creates a magnetic field around it that causes the rotor to spin. When the rotor is in operation, it causes the impeller to rotate, driving the pump.

A duct fan is an air movement arrangement whereby a mechanical fan, which is a type of propeller, is mounted in a cylindrical casing or duct. Light is produced when the particles that carry the current (known as electrons and holes) combine in the semiconductor material. Gas solenoid valves are used to control the flow of a gas through a machine or in a boiler or industrial heating by converting electrical impulses.

As the battery is used, the voltage will gradually decrease until the minimum is around 3.0 V.

As we can see there are two input sources connected to ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch). Our connection will be connected to the main load through the load controller and we will connect another line form ATS to an inverter which will give us 12 volt dc. This line will be used for a charger this charger, charges the 3.7 volt battery used for GSM module sim800L.

Now coming back to our Arduino UNO there are two inputs one is smoke sensor connected in pin number A5 in arduino UNO and another one is flame sensor connected in pin number D7. Smoke and flame sensors are powered from arduino and now comes the GSM module sim800L as we described it early that it takes power from 3.7 volt lithium ion battery it has two points first one is RX which is for receiving and second one is TX which is for the transmission RX is connected to pin number 3 and tx is connected to pin number 2. Next there are two relay numbers: one relay coil is connected to pin number 13 and number two relay coil is connected to pin number 10.

The load controller is used for load control and another point is connected in parallel with the pump and emergency lights. The automated fire protection system is capable of providing safety from multiple harmful sources such as fire, smoke and short circuit etc. At first, if there is any kind of smoke detection in the building, the smoke sensor will activate if the smoke is in range (REGULAR).

Arduino UNO will provide output for buzzer, solenoid gas valve, also for ventilation system. Upon receiving the signal, the buzzer and ventilation will be activated, and the solenoid gas valve will cut off gas service to the entire building. Now, if there is any fire detection in the building, the flame sensor (CONFIGURABLE) will send a signal to the Arduino UNO.

Again Arduino UNO will provide the output to relay to cut the main electricity line and will power the emergency service light. At the same time sprinkler will be activated, it will be supported by a pump for better water supply and pressure. In the later part of this paper we have discussed the result and discussion of the project to make the concept clear to anyone.

Our fire department depends on these systems for the basic needs of fire protection and firefighting. Our ability to identify the various components of these systems and to inspect them for operational readiness can mean the difference between life and death if the systems are needed. An automatic fire protection system helps us to reduce the damage, save lives and also the equipment.
