Course Number: ECE 6411 Course Title: Network Routing Credit: 3

Course Description:

Fundamental concepts and principles in the design and implementation of computer communication networks, their protocols, and architectures.

Routing Algorithms: Shortest Path, and Widest Path.

Routing Protocols: Distance Vector, Link State, and Path Vector.

Network Flow Modeling & Optimization: Minimum Cost Routing, Load Balancing, Average Delay, Link-Path Formulation, and Node-Link Formulation.

Routing in IP Networks: Routing Information Protocol (RIP), Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (IGRP), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).

IP Traffic Engineering, Internet Routing Architectures, and Routing in Data Center Network.
