With due respect, Textile Engineering students of Sonargaon University (SU) have successfully completed our industrial training program. We hereby declare that this industrial attachment for Pacific Jeans Limited of Bangladesh is carried out by us under the supervision of Md Kamrul Hassan, Coordinator and Lecturer, Department of Textile Engineering, Sonargoan University (SU) Dhaka. First of all we would like to express our gratitude to Almighty Allah for enabling me to complete this report on “Industrial Training Report”.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude and sincere gratitude to our respected coordinator Mr. Kamrul Hassan, Department of Textile Engineering, Sonargaon University, for his valuable guidance, suggestions, encouragement and inspiration during this period of industrial training. We would also like to express our utmost gratitude to the officials of Pacific Jeans Limited who have helped us and given us their valuable time and provided us with the most relevant information on the basis of which we have prepared this report. Due to some limitations of the factory, we found the storage part, the cutting part, the sewing part, the finishing part and the maintenance part, the washing part of the cost accounting department.
Here we also found the sample section, but this section is not fully functional as only development samples, size set and production samples are produced here. With the help of my supervisor we have gained knowledge about handling an order, production procedure and inspection procedure to maintain the quality of these orders.
Introductory Chapter
The late Nurool Quader Khan was the pioneer of the ready-made garment industry in Bangladesh. At the same time, Late Akhter Mohammad Musa of Bond Garments, Late Mohammad Reazuddin of Reaz Garments, Md Humayun of Paris Garments, Engineer Mohammad Fazlul Azim of Azim Group, Major (Retd) Abdul Mannan of Sunman Group, M Shamsur Rahman of Stylecraft Limited, BGMEA's first President, AM Subid Ali of Aristocrat Limited also came forward and established some of the first garment factories in Bangladesh. The purpose of industrial practice is to acquaint us with any type of industry, the entire process that is taking place in the industry, its environment and also with the management system of the industry.
This is due to the fact that to run any industry, not only the production department is evident, but the ability to manage the entire system is also evident. Discussion with authorized officer, senior officers, employees and workers of all departments of PACIFIC Jeans Ltd. I have also taken information from various reports and articles by university senior workers and PACIFIC Jeans Ltd.
After completing the theoretical course, the student is required to work on collecting practical knowledge anywhere, based on his/her main field, so that he/she is aware of it. Finally, I always feel free to do anything and they give complete freedom to know anything.
Pacific Jeans LTD
Pacific Jeans is committed to being a part of social development and always tries to help the underprivileged people in the society. Pacific jeans foundation is the CSR wing of the group that relentlessly works on child education in Bangladesh. A jeans button sews through the fabric and fastens at the bottom of the jeans button.

For a hundred percent export-oriented organization, the responsibility of the commercial department is very important. During this process, the commercial department receives the following documents from the supplier of raw materials.
Maintain all kinds of rules and regulations, meeting, general notice, circular, decision related to the workers and employee of the whole factory. HR department organizes orientation and training program to introduce the company and the responsibilities of the job to the newcomer. Managing the vehicles for total workforce is to reach them at the factory on time.

Then the confirmation of the order will be given by the buyer by completing the negotiation on costing. Pigment paint is not color in the true sense, as the pigment sticks to the fabric due to the binders. The technology used to change the appearance, comfortable outlook and fashion of the garments is called garment washing.
This is a process that is introduced in the dry state of denim garments and is called the dry process. Acceptance of the procedure is highly dependent on the customer's requirements, design, cost, garment composition and flexibility of execution. The whisker effect given by the pattern on the garment is called Pattern Whisker.
This is the main dry process applied to the surface of the clothes using specific sandpaper. Thus, indigo or sulfur dyes cannot get into the inner part of the yarn, but rather adhere to the surface of the yarn. Initially, the garments are turned over and the inside of the side seam is ironed.
Then mark this pattern on the grinding areas in the garments with the help of chalk. Generally, the overall wrinkle on garment is after all kinds of wet process and dry process. PP SPONGING is carried out manually, foam / towel / Fabric Stk is moistened with pp solution and applied to the hand scraped area / blown area of the clothing by hand. Through this process, we can track when you wear garments. This means that you have worn this garment so many times and for that reason we can see the pocket lining mark, but this has been done by hand scraping. The technical part of this process is that the shade inside the pocket and the top part of the same part must be the same, and this must be done carefully. So there is no grinding on the pocket edge and no damage to the sewing thread. The process which is carried out on the wet state of the garment with the help of chemicals and machines is called wet process.
Enzyme hydrolysis of the cellulose fibers in the denim fabric. First, it attacks the fibers, hydrolyzing them. It then attacks the yarn part inside the fabric. The agents/chemicals that increase the wet properties of clothing are called wetting agents.
SWOT Analysis
From the SWOT analysis, it would be easy to find out the current scenario of the Pacific Jeans Group. To better understand Pacific Jeans Group's current business practices, a SWOT analysis is performed. They will add a dry washing process where they can wash clothes with just one glass of water.
Waste or damaged denim can be used to make different types of products such as handbags, backpacks, sandals, shoes, dolls, display pieces, etc. Since most workers are not well educated, they face difficulties in understanding machine commands. Since there is a manual work system in most of the processes, it is difficult for R&D workers to adjust the appearance of the wash according to the pattern.
Most of the time, workers will not feel comfortable while working because there is not enough space on the R&D floor. They can look for graphic software where they can customize the actual appearance of the wash according to the pattern, which also indicates the need for the wash and also gives the recipe for it. To increase production, technological equipment should increase research and development; they can look for modern machines and useful software for research and development.
They can hire some expert people from home or abroad who have very good experience in R&D and modern fashion and design. Internship in a factory is an important and essential part of the education, because through it I learn the whole implementation of the process that I studied theoretically. For this reason, it is very important to be aware of the latest technologies in the textile sector.
To make a quality product, as a student of garment production and technology, I need to have a lot of knowledge about production parameters and how to make a high quality product. During this training period, I learned how the desired product is ready for shipment from start to finish, ie. During this training period, I got an idea of the responsibility of different departments of the factory.
