Husne Ara Ali
Husne Ara Ali is a Trustee of Education, Science, Technology and Cultural Development Trust (ESTCDT), the founding Trust of IUB. She is a daughter of National Prof. Dr. M. Innas Ali, Founder Chairman of ESTCDT and the first Rector of IUB.
Currently a Ph.D. student (fellow, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences) and researcher, Husne Ara Ali obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honors), Master of Pharmacy and Master of Philosophy degrees in Pharmacy from the University of Dhaka. She published 5 research papers in different national and international scientific journals.
She served the Bangladesh Embassy School, Jeddah and the Spectrum International School as Science and Mathematics teacher in 1985 and 2002 respectively. As an amateur artist she participated in 5 solo exhibitions and 8 group exhibitions in Bangladesh and abroad.
Husne Ara Ali is a member of Bangladesh Women Science Association, Bangladesh Pharmacy Council, Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Society and Pharmacy Graduate Association. She is a founder Trustee of National Professor Dr. M. Innas Ali Memorial Trust Fund and successor founder Trustee of Rowshan Innas Ali Welfare Trust Fund, Dhaka University.
