• In young’s experiment separation between two

slits is 1*10-4m and the distance of the screen

from the plane of the slit is 0.50m . What is the

distance from the central bright point to the first

bright point in the screen. (λ=5000* 10-10)

Interference fringes are produced on a screen kept 1m away from two slits 0.4mm apart. The wavelength of the light used is 5000A.Find the distance between the centers of two consecutive bright and dark fringe.
