FYAT BRIEFING SESSION

Dear Student Mentors,
Thank you for participating in the First Year Advising Team (FYAT) to mentor the Fall 2015 freshman class during their first year at BRAC University.
We cordially invite you to a mandatory “Briefing Session” from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. on Monday, 24 August 2015 at the UB-1 Auditorium. At this time, the program organizers will go over the objectives and methods of first-year advising, distribute advising resource packets, and form up to 25 Faculty-led teams to mentor approximately 350 new students. We will also provide a FYAT Advising Manual with further details about program objectives and schedules, advising approaches and tips, student profile and advising forms, academic and counseling support services, and departmental resources.
Once again, we are indebted to you for taking the time from your busy schedule to aid the university in its commitment to student development and success. We are confident that your involvement will greatly enhance the early experience of our freshers and contribute to their personal development and academic progress.
