Referred/Improvement Examination Winter/Summer Semester 2022 (Level-1, Term-I)
NOTICE
This is for information of all concerned that the Referred/ Improvement Examination Winter 2022 (14th
& 15th Batch) and Summer 2022 (13th Batch) will start from 29 January 2023. The guidelines for appearing in the Referred/Improvement/Backlog Examinations are mentioned below:
REFERRED EXAMINATION
1. A student failed (‘F’ grade) in a maximum of 4-theory courses in the last final examination will have to appear in all the referred courses in the Referred Examination.
2. The highest achievable grade in the Referred Examination is ‘B’.
IMPROVEMENT EXAMINATION
1. A student passed in any theory course in the last final examination but obtained less than ‘B+’ grade can appear in the Improvement Examination to improve the grade of the course(s).
2. A student can appear in a maximum of 3-theory courses in the Improvement Examination.
3. If a student fails to improve his grade in the Improvement Examination, his previous obtained grade of the Final Examination will be considered as the final grade.
4. The highest achievable grade in the Improvement Examination is ‘B+’.
REGISTRTION PROCEDURE
1. Students intending to appear in the Referred and /or Improvement Examination will have to complete online registration through this google form ( https://forms.gle/LP4Ljwz4HkD7YF2o8 ) within 19/01/2023 to 22/01/2023 before 1400 hrs.
2. After online registration students have to pay registration fee Tk. 1000/- (one thousand) only per course (Referred/Improvement) to A/C No- 0060-0210001280, Trust Bank Ltd. Saidpur Cantonment Branch or Bkash Marchent account of the University (01769675556).
3. Admit card can be collected on 25/01/2023 from the respective department after submitting the exam fee payment documents.
4. Failing registration and collecting admit cards in time, student will not be allowed to sit for the examination.
It may be mentioned that as per the rules of BAUST, a student will be allowed to sit for a maximum of 4 courses from Referred and / or Improvement courses. A student will only be allowed to sit for Improvement Examination if the total number of referred courses is 3 or less.
