Accommodation

The Organizing Committee will arrange accommodation for delegates on request at standard hotels in Khulna City. Courtesy buses will be arranged from these hotels to the Conference venue. Further information about hotels and rates will be posted in the conference official web-site later.

Introduction and Objective

The field of Mechanical, Industrial and Energy Engineering has a great contribution to the technological development in many areas. Technological development can be enhanced through continuous research. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology is going to organize the 3^rd International Conference on Mechanical, Industrial and Energy Engineering (ICMIEE 2014) on 26-27 December, 2014. It will bring great opportunities for both researchers and industrial communities to meet, discuss and share their research outcomes. Obviously this will develop a bridge among the researchers and the experts of the industry which is essential to meet the challenge of 21st century. So, this conference will provide a common platform for the participants throughout the world to exchange their views and share the ideas in the vast field of Mechanical, Industrial and Energy Engineering.

Venue

The venue of the conference is at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), which is one of the renowned Engineering Universities in Bangladesh. The green environmental pollution free KUET campus is located at Fulbarigate, about 13 km north from Khulna City. Khulna is the third largest city in Bangladesh. The city is 300 km southwest of capital Dhaka and connected by air, road, train and water transportation. It is one of the industrial cities of Bangladesh having a blending of old and new architectural trend. Khulna known as the city of Shrimps, about 75% of shrimps exported from Bangladesh are cultivated in the Khulna zone. The temperature and humidity of Khulna in the month of December are about 20^oC and 50%.
