Dear students of class-XI(Radium) Shaheen college Dhaka
I hope that everybody is fine by the blessings of Almighty Allah. At the present situation of the world, everybody is very tensed & worried. A humble request to my dear students, please STAY HOME & BE SAFE.
You know, we have already completed our year final syllabus before the lockdown. I hope that our year final exam of class XII will be held on convenient time. But as time is passing by, we have to start our 2nd year syllabus. That’s why I am here to start your syllabus for 2nd term starting with the chapter-9(WAVE) of paper-I.
Here are the questions(both versions) given in the next slide. Please co-operate for your own privilege.

HOME TASK
(English version)
❖ A stone is falling over the plane AB. AB is inclined plane making an angle of 30° with horizontal line and AO is perpendicular. So OB is horizontal plane. AB is 9.8m and gravity is 9.8 ms-².
a) Define reciprocal vector.
b) Show that power is scalar product of two vectors.
c) From the above stem calculate the velocity of the stone at point B.
d) If the student is falling perpendicularly along the AO path . Compare the velocity & time in both the cases.

❖ A rectangular bar of mass 0.6 kg & length 50cm is rotating around the axis passing through the middle point. Axis & length of the bar each other perpendicular . If the bar rotates 45 rpm.
a) Define Banking of roads.
b) Absolute humidity of the Middle east is 8gm/m³. what do you mean by that?
c) From the above stem, calculate the kinetic energy of the bar.
d) If the axis is considered as the end of the bar. Show the angular momentum is 4 times greater than the previous case.
❖ A 500 W electric toaster operates from 220 V.
a) Calculate the current in the heating element of the toaster.
b) The heating element of the toaster is made of much thinner wire than the wire in its supply cable. In which of these two wires do the electrons have the greater drift velocity? Explain & clarify your answer.

a) Show that its angular speed is approximately 1*10-³ radians per second.
b) Calculate the magnitude of satellite acceleration.
