Sports Ground on Brownfield Sites:

Sports is

one of the important

^parts

of

education.

lt

helps

to

develop physical fitness and

mental

well-being. From

primary to tertiary level, in

every sector

of

educational

life,

the importance

of

sports is immeasurable. Ensuring

the

sports

facility

required huge space and ULAB had the options

to

use its brownfields. The Management of the University of Liberal Arts (ULAB) feels

that,

redeveloping

a

brownfield

site into a sport

^ground

will

help

to

create a

network within the intra-university and inter-university as well. As a result a relationship among the socialcommunities will build up.

has built a huge sport ground using

unused brownfield sites.

Some facts about redevelopment of brownfield site:

Brownfield gets its name "ULAB Sport Ground"

. lt

appears in the middle of permanent campus.

o

Redeveloped and sports activities have started from 2010.
