This thesis entitled "An Empirical Study on the Use of AI in UI/UX", submitted by Md Sohanur Rahman Sohan, ID No to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Daffodil International University has been accepted as satisfactory for the partial fulfillment of requirements for cand.mag. We hereby declare that this project has been carried out by us under the supervision of Dr. Sheak Rashed Haider Noori, Associate Professor and Associate Head, Department of CSE Daffodil International University.
Sheak Rashed Haider Noori, Professor and Associate Head of CSE Department, Daffodil International University, Dhaka. Syed Akhter Hossain, Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, for giving me the opportunity to carry out the research work, and also to other faculty members and the staff of the CSE Department, Daffodil International University. I owe a lot to my beloved Parents, my mother Khadiza Bugum and my Father Md Mohsin Hossoin Babu may Allah protect them; they are always very understanding and supportive of my choices.
Today UI/UX or Branding design is a big challenge due to cost, quality, time and above all customer satisfaction. In my research, I will discuss what the roles of UI/UX and AI designers will be. And how artificial intelligence will help the designer to make a unique and user-friendly UI/UX design.

We found artificial intelligence in various industries. AI affects even the most unexpected areas of our lives - from cleaning toilets to autopilots on airplanes. Our topic is how non-human intelligence/AI is able to produce creative output that looks real to the human eye or how AI will help Designer in the future to design UI/UX. As a designer Sir told me to make something that will help you design quickly and user will be happy to enter a website or app.
Sir also provided me a website link called "UX matter" where I can get great idea about UI/UX related thesis. I was studying that website and suddenly I found an article about AI based UI/UX design. AI-based UX design is not only discussed for the latest futuristic prediction these days.
But my goal is to use AI as an assistant designer rather than the main designer. I associate my career aspirations with becoming a design professional, so researching this topic can lead me to in-depth knowledge and motivation in this area to contribute to my chances of success in my chosen career path. No artificial intelligence will replace the designer, but the designer would have to learn a lot of new technologies to survive.

Daffodil International University 5 Researchers often think that almost every task will be performed by a computerized system in the near future. Tasks as well as financing, assessment and accounting will be performed by automated mechanical devices, so no manpower is required. Uizard: Uizard is a popular platform that directs machines to read (GUI) graphical user interfaces the same way humans do.
Airbnb's AI: American hospitality services company, Airbnb has created an AI process that helps designers take ideas straight from the sketch to reality. Mockplus: This is a powerful tool that allows designers to design and automate design directly from platforms like Photoshop or Adobe XD. And what will the end product look like? If most of the prototyping tools appear with a colorful and fancy interface, it allows the designer to focus more on the content first, rather than the colors which can be done at the end anyway.
Daffodil International University 6 around the world on the future impact of artificial intelligence and how our jobs may change. But one thing must be clear that Designer will not be replaced by artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence will help the designer in various aspects of design. In the near future, designers and robots will work together, and instead of some problems, a series of opportunities will come.
It will also help to experiment with large amount of data within a very short time to help the designer make the right decision. It will be difficult to build user trust because people are unsure about AI, how it makes decisions, and whether all its decisions are appropriate or not. Daffodil International University 7 Intelligent systems now and then can be inspired by incredible thinking that sometimes produces some funny or somewhat unexpected or funny outputs.
Most people are not familiar with this term and do not have enough use cases in the market. There are very few companies now that want to invest in this sector, and there will be a need for experts who can work with artificial intelligence.

- Different Ways Companies use AI with UI/UX Emotional AI
Regarding AI technology, I wanted to evaluate where the UX design community is currently. My motivation for choosing a study to collect data for this study was that it would allow us to quickly gain the advantage of AI in this field. They do their research using the Interaction Design Association, User Experience and Professionals Association mailing lists.
Since my research topic is a bit more complex for general students and the people who don't know anything about UI/UX designs, I ignored them. The most commonly used quantitative data analysis method is cross-tabulation. It is a favorite method because it applies a primary tabular form to draw a conclusion between different data sets in the study. Actually, my topic is the use of AI in UI/UX design. Therefore, I will discuss its use in this section.
For better presentation, I divide it into two sections, one is the benefit of AI in UX design sector and another is UI design. Usability is the dimension of how easily a website or application can be used by individual users with efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction in a quantified context of use. To facilitate more customized experiences for the users, websites are becoming smarter and taking into account various constellations of user data points. Multiple data points we get from user research help us gain creative insights into what users are most likely looking for.
If machine takes over the part of user research, the ability to calculate use cases becomes more optical and accessible to more users. Websites increase and become more intelligent in handling complex tasks with the help of the AI intelligent. Intelligent agents can answer users' questions in real time rather than using script to reply back to users. Because of the sheer capability for data processing, AI is a powerful tool to have for any kind of testing.
Annette Zimmermann, vice president of Gartner, said: "By 2022, your personal device will know more about your emotional state than your family." Through facial recognition and computer vision, AI is able to recognize the user's gender, age, location context and current mood. AI is an exciting new field that is capable of learning from and influencing humans, although AI robots are unable to show actual emotions like humans, emotions.

Descriptive Analysis
- Area of survey respondents’ work
- Involvement of UX team
Because my thesis is the only empirical study on the use of AI in UI/UX design, I only read many papers and find many applications of AI. Do you think the current system of data analysis will be sufficient for UX researcher. If an AI will collect data about the user from social media and advertise based on this data.
Do you think AI will take over all the tasks of the UX designer?

Daffodil International University 21 So, it will change for the designer in the future and they must be aware of it now to grab their work. If they are not dynamic day by day, it will be very difficult for them to survive in their design sector. So the designer sought to learn some additional skills in AI and data science in the future to survive.
So we can say that it will not replace the designer but it will help the designer to provide feasible design in a very short period of time. Or it can be said that the designer will control AI in the future and use it to help his design process easier. AI and UX are strongly involved in today's world where we are now looking at an inflection point in the new era of design.
However, a specialist says that the designer will be replaced by AI in the future. Because during my thesis I tried to show what the tasks of the designer and the AI will be. If they are not aware of this, it will now be possible for DIU students to enter the design sector.
In my research I have not done any survey why recommend them that you should study this topic and you should do a survey to get more specific results in the future. In the future we should continue this kind of study and find an easy way to work with AI. Available: https://bigdata-madesimple.com/machine-learning-vs-front-end-developers-future-of-ui-design/.
