(There are Four questions. Answering all of them is mandatory. Figures in the right margin indicate marks. Writing anything on the question paper is strictly prohibited.)

1. Define refresh rate? Explain how it regulates the quality of the displayed content

in the monitor? [1+2]

2. Briefly explain how a CRT monitor displays images? [2]

3. “32-inch monitor” write down the meaning of this clause in your own words. [2]

4. What is Dot Pitch and how the value of the dot pitch regulates the performance of

a display. [1+2]

5. Briefly explain how the operating system manages different hardware. [4]

6. Write down the names of some non-GUI operating systems. [1]

• Instructions:

o Write down the answers in A4 size papers.

o Write your ID and batch on top the first page.

o Take clear photos and make a PDF using Cam Scanner or Adobe Scan. Rename the files with your id_batch and upload the file.

o Understanding the questions are also part of the examination. So the examiner should not be contacted for any further elaboration regarding questions.

o Exam duration is 25 minutes and upload time 5 minutes. You must submit the answer script with in this 30 minutes time frame using the provided google form.
