BACHELOR OF SOCIAL SCIENCE IN MEDIA STUDIES AND JOURNALISM (MSJ)

Although there are multiple answers, I will always put ULAB at the top of the list because of the solid foundation I got during my time there. Career

The general education program forms the basis of the Liberal Arts Curriculum at the university. To introduce students to courses not offered by their respective departments, but courses that are vital to both deepening and broadening their liberal arts perspective. The general education (GED) courses are offered through the program as well as through existing departments.

These courses are offered in two main types: core and elective, and the latter also serve as “optional” choices for advanced students.

GENERAL EDUCATION

Providing students with a range of core subjects through building the intellectual foundations and skills absolutely necessary for a university-level education and particularly for a Liberal Arts perspective. GED core courses remain fixed for long periods of time and are offered in a fairly specific sequence, so students following their departmental syllabi can know which GED core to take when without reference to any other major. GED electives and electives may vary slightly from term to term, and students are advised to consult the lists for each term to know what they must take or may choose.

Students must choose from the course listed below (courses below in each set are a sample of the offerings and not a complete list; offerings will change from time to time and students must choose from what is offered at any given time) .
