Venture Capitalist Sonia Bashir Kabir
ULAB Centre for Enterprise and Society (CES) and Dhaka Tribune jointly organized a webinar, titled “Leading with Digital Transformation,” on Thursday.
The session featured Sonia Bashir Kabir, founder and chair of venture capital company SBK Ventures, according to a press release.
It was an hour-long session where Sonia shared her thoughts on leadership, digital transformation, and her professional journey.
Sonia spoke to a highly engaged and participatory online a udience of youth, students, founders, and decision-makers in the startup ecosystem of Bangladesh.
She highlighted the importance of common-sense approaches to building startups and underscored how she looks for founders who have a good work ethic.
She also added that implementation is a key driver to startup success, not just creative ideas.
CES Director Associate Professor Sajid Amit kicked off the session and Prof Imran Rahman, the special adviser to the Board of Trustees and the dean of School of Business, introduced the speaker.
