The Jahangirnagar University Journal of Law is a yearly publication of the Faculty of Law at Jahangirnagar University. The Editorial Board cordially invites you to submit an unpublished article, book review, or review of any law or judicial decision by 30th April 2021 for publication in Volume IX, 2021 of the Journal. The expected date of publication is 30th June 2021. Your participation and wider circulation of this invitation will be highly appreciated.

Jahangirnagar University Journal of Law Note for Contributors
1. The Journal solicits papers written in English only. The paper should focus on any substantial question of law. However, given the interdisciplinary thrust of the Faculty of Law, the Journal would welcome writings on any social sciences approach to legal issues.
2. The paper should be based on original unpublished research work and should demonstrate the author’s own analysis, and/or findings, and/or recommendations. The editorial board is not responsible for the opinions and statements of the author(s).
3. Articles are accepted for consideration on the understanding that they are not being submitted elsewhere.
4. Submit TWO hard copies of the manuscript to: Dean, Faculty of Law, Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka-1342, Bangladesh. Submitting a soft copy of the article is mandatory as an e- mail attachment to the following e-mail address: [email protected]
5. Manuscripts should be accompanied by an abstract of maximum 200 words, key words, and a separate cover sheet containing- (i) the title of the article, (ii) name of the author, (iii) professional affiliation, and (iv) contact details.
6. The manuscript is to be typed in double space on one side of A4 sized paper with at least one-inch margin on each side. The length of the article should not exceed 30 pages.
Style Guide for the Journal
1. Every reference should be accompanied by a necessary citation at the bottom of the corresponding page (footnote).
2. For preparing the manuscript, the author(s) is/are requested to follow the OSCOLA, 4th Edition 2012 available at: http://www.law.ox.ac.uk/published/OSCOLA_4th_edn_Hart_2012.pdf 3. It is the author’s responsibility to make the manuscript fully OSCOLA compliant, non- compliant manuscript, if any, should be rejected summarily.
