In this globalization era, all nations need to communicate each other. When children are having fun, they usually want to continue the activities. Children also need individual attention and support from the teacher to
make them feel more confident and secure about learning English,so that they felt enjoy and happy when studied English.
As a teacher, teaching English in elementary school is not easy like teaching adult students. Here, teacher needs enough preparation, the various techniques, the media, act, and the teacher must be creative to make the students interest and vocabulary to encourage their comprehension grow well.

techniques are the way for making the learning process more active and helpful for the teacher to manage the classroom.
The statement above is supported by Anand (2002: 3), who investigated the technique of teaching vocabulary to children at SDN 1 Mulyo Agung Jetis, Malang. He found that the effective teaching techniques of vocabulary are guessing picture, asking and answering questions and singing a song, among those three techniques, students are interested in singing a song. They were very enthusiastic because they were free to express their styles and they felt happy. Besides, Basuki (2006:2), who investigated the technique of teaching vocabulary to the third year students of SDN Bangselok 111 Sumenep Madura, found out that the effective teaching techniques of vocabulary was include the translation technique, visual technique, the repetition technique, and the game technique. That technique is very important because students could enjoy the material presented. In short, teaching vocabulary by using various techniques are able to make a student’s enjoy the material presented and get easier to understand.
