MAKARA Seri SAINS merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang menyajikan artikel orisinal tentang pengetahuan dan inforrnasi liset atau aplikasi riset dan pengembangan terkini dalam bidang sains. Jurnal MAKARA Seri SAINS terakreditasi B berdasarkan SK Dirjen DiktJ No. 64a/DIKTl/KEP/201O (20102013). Jurnal ini merupakan sarana publikasi dan ajang berbagi karya riset dan pengembangannya dl bidang sains. Pemuatan artikel di jurnal ini dialamatkan ke kantor editor. Inforrnasi lengkap untuk pemuatan artikel dan petunjuk penulisan a11ikel tersedia di dalam setiap terbitan dan seeara online. A11ikel yang masuk akan melalui proses seleksi l11ltra bestari dan dewan editor. Mulai tahun 2012 jurnal ini terbit secara berkala sebanyak tiga kali dalam setahun (April. Agustus. dan Desember). Pemuatan naskah tidak dipungut biaya. MAKARA Seri SAINS adalah peningkatan dari MAKARA Seri B: Bidang Sains dan Teknologi sebagai penyempUll1aan dari Jurnal Penelitian Universitas Indonesia MAKARA yang terbit sejak Januari 1997.
MAK.!\RA Seri Sains (MAKARA of Science Series) is a scientific journal publishing original articles on new knowledg<: and research or research application \vith current issues in basic science. The journal is published by the Directorate of Research and Community Services, Universitas Indonesia and provides a broadbased forum for the publication and sharing of ongoing research and development in science. The paper to be presented in this journal is addressed to the editorial office or email. The complete information regarding the procedures to send an article is available in each volume and on its website. All articles will be subjected to doubleblind peer review process j()llowing a review by the editors. MAKARA Seri Sains is a further model of MAKARA Series 8: Area of Sciences and Technology as the improvement version of Universitas Indonesia Scientific Journal, MAKARA. which has been published since 1997. Starting from 2012. the journal has been periodically published three times a year (April. August. and December). Full text articles are available from Volume 6 No.1 April 2002 free of charge

Sediment samples werc used to obtain porosity ,·alues. The data obtained is used to Illake vertical C:OIh.entratiol1 profiles and analysis of veltieal nutrient flux. Vertical nLltrient flux. analysis was perfomled with the aid of QUAL2K software
version 2.11. The results showed different vertical dIstributions and t1ux of Ilutrients, where ill/lux tur ammonia and
phosphate and an increase ill line with Illcreasmg sediment depth, while nitrate eff7ux and a decreased concentration.
The t1ux calculation of nitrite as transitory nutrient was not done, but the concentration decreased after a depth of 2.5 cm. This indicates that the high contamination on the surface does not prevent the natUlal cbemical processes so the reclaimed region can still provide nutritional support for its organism.

yang berada di bawah pohon mangrove tcrtutup oleh limbunan plastik Mcski ocmikian, kawasan reklamasi ini masih memiliki beragam biota, sehingga diduga lingkungan ini masih memiiiki daya dukung imcrnal , terutama nutrien dari sedimen. Tujuan penelitian adalall mCfigkaji kondisi nutrien pacta sedili1en ka wasan ieklamasi mangrove. Penelitian ini
dilakukan dengan mengambil sampel air poros menggunakan modiiikasl cawan bercingkat pada kedalaman sedimen
0-15 cm dengan interval kedalaman 2,S :. ITIj serta sarnpel sednnen de;ngan mznggunaka(] ring tanah. Sampel air poros
diukur Dissolve Oxygen (DO) dan konsentrasi amoniak, nitrit, nitrat, dan fusfat Sampel sedimen digunakan untuk
memperoleh nilai pOlOsitas. Data yang diperotell digunakaII dalard l)(;lilOilJlal i tHiltil k0nsei1trasi seeara vertikal, analisis
