Statistics to Date
●Click through rates to make an enquiry with the OU for formal study are ~2934%
across all BOCs. Existing average click through rate is ~13% on OpenLearn
●Average completion rate is ~9% which is slightly higher than MOOCs ~5%
●Satisfaction rates are very high ~98%
●Learners are willing to share their BOC achievements with their employer or
prospective employer ~2057%

What the OU says…
●Student Services have agreed that BOCs undertaken by OU students will be visible
on the online Student Record and in Section 6.1 of the HEAR
●Discussions are underway to provide all or part of the Access curriculum as BOCs
●BOCs are actively promoted through the Social Partnerships Network
●Developed the understanding and practice of Moodle Quizzes
●BOCs are budgets at £25k each and utilise reuse of content
