This thesis focuses on the field of sociolinguistics. Especially investigate of taboo word in song lyrics used by Wiz Khalifa in album "Kush & Orange Juice". This thesis aims to describe the types and motives of taboo words used by Wiz Khalifa’s song lyrics in Album “Kush and Orange Juice”.
The methodology uses qualitative to complete this study. The data research is obtained taboo words in song lyrics used by Wiz Khalifa to describe the types and motives of taboo words used by Wiz Khalifa’s song lyrics in Album “Kush and Orange Juice”. The data of the research is utterances and the data source is song lyrics. The utterances become the data of this research because the researcher wanted to find the taboo words in song lyrics used by Wiz Khalifa in album Kush and Orange Juice and meaning the lyrics which contain about taboo words. While, song lyrics is primary and literary data in this research.
