Counselors are professionals that require special skills in the implementation of Guidance and Counseling services. Various approaches can be used to achieve professionalism in Guidance and counseling both psychoanalyst Western psychology approaches, behavioristic, and humanistic that have been known in all corners of the world as well as approaches which have their own peculiarities. A counselor must have insight, knowledge and skills in handing various complex problems in the client's self in guidance and counseling services. A counselor must have a personality that attractive and professional. Hamka is an intellectual and scholar who also speaks about personality and man. In his thoughts HAMKA display 10 form Great personality that can be integrated into a personal counselor, namely: (1) Have the power attractive, (2) Clever, (3) Considerate (Empathy), (4) Courageous, (5) Wise, (6) Good-sighted, (7) Know self, (8) Health body, (9) Wise in talk, (10) Believe self.
ABSTRAK
Konselor adalah tenaga profesional yang membutuhkan keahlian khusus dalam penyelenggaraan layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling. Berbagai pendekatan dapat digunakan untuk mencapai profesionalisme dalam Bimbingan dan Konseling baik pendekatan psikoanalis psikologi Barat, behavioristik, dan humanistik yang telah dikenal di seluruh penjuru dunia maupun pendekatan yang memiliki kekhasan masing-masing.
Seorang konselor harus memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menangani berbagai masalah yang kompleks dalam diri klien dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Seorang konselor harus memiliki kepribadian yang menarik dan profesional. Hamka adalah seorang intelektual dan ulama yang juga berbicara tentang kepribadian dan manusia. Dalam pemikirannya HAMKA menampilkan 10 wujud kepribadian Hebat yang dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam pribadi pembimbing, yaitu: (1) Memiliki daya tarik, (2) Pandai, (3) Perhatian (Empati), (4) Pemberani, (5) Bijaksana , (6)
Berpenampilan menarik, (7) Mengenal diri sendiri, (8) Menyehatkan tubuh, (9) Bijak dalam berbicara, (10) Percaya diri.

1. INTRODUCTION
Counselors are a noble profession, where the counselor profession has the ability to care for each other, namely achieving client independence and living a happy life in his daily life. But to become a counselor is not an easy thing, because requires people who are willing and able to commit to the counseling profession. The success of the implementation of counseling is determined by the values and personality skills that must be owned by a counselor. The personality of the counselor will determine the direction of implementation of guidance and counseling services in alleviating client problems. Become Counselor must individual the have soul and character care to person other ( altruistic ) and have good emotion management skills, not easily angered or frustrated, and has the characteristics of being warm, friendly, open, sensitive, patient, and creative (Gleading & Samuel, 2012).
Personality counselor Becomes factor important in process counseling services, because the personality of the counselor becomes the fulcrum that balances knowledge and skills in Guidance and counseling services. Counselor personality is a key influence in counseling guidance (Mohammad, 2003). Counselor too must have attitudes and behaviors that are attractive and pleasing to others such as: friendly, full attention to counselee, pleasant say he said, have believe self who are high, able to appreciate the counselee, who have a variety of characters, and are sincere in their work, as well as appearance interesting (Gleading &
Samuel, 2012).
Various criteria were explained by the expert on the personality of the counselor, Prayitno in (Sukardi, 2008), states the personality criteria that must be possessed by counselors as follows: (1) Exemplary attitude and behavior, (2) Stable emotions, (3) Independent, (4) Quality independence counselor, (5) Have personality which ripe and stable, (6) Wise and wise, (7) Have courage, (8) Have high enough intelligence, (9) Able to reason with good, (10) Have a useful idea. Meanwhile, according to Carl Rogers (Isra, 2020) describes the three main qualities of counselors in order to create an effective implementation of counseling services namely, Congruence, Unconditional positive attention to clients and Empathy. Therefore It can be concluded that the personality of the counselor is a very vital and very important factor important in process service Guidance and counseling. It means effectiveness personality counselors can determine the maximum and optimal results of counseling services to clients. The personality of this counselor can be developed continuously through education and training, so that he is able to understand himself before he carries out Counseling against client and understand other people.
Various expert speak about personality wrong the only one is a Indonesian scholar HAMKA (1908-1981), he is a scholar and famous scholar in Indonesia. In addition, Hamka is also known as an intellectual who have a lot of knowledge in various fields, both in the field of religion and general, so that he given predicate which different from para scientist
famous (Rush, 2020). Hamka talks a lot about individual personalities and speaks calmly of humans, several books on personality have been born Hamka who made a handle and reference people and Public in understand himself.
Hamka has written many books that discuss personality, among others Great Personality (1982), Muslim View of Life (1992), Sufism Modern (1990), Institution Budi (1986), Living Institute (1986), and philosophy Life (1984) (Subhi, 2018). Speak about personality this Hamka deliver it his thoughts based on description incident real which once experienced During time his life, as Cleric, Figure Society, Political Figures, Writers, Journalists and so on, it is in accordance with philosophy please "Natural Takambang So Teacher" (Subhi, 2018). However in Thing this our examines Hamka's thoughts on personality in the Great Personal Book written in year 1982 the. Then our try elaborate thought Hamka the into the Counseling profession. Where, the personality quality of the counselor will support how implementation of BK services and the success of BK services themselves, so that counseling could solve the problem the client.
2. METHOD
This type of research is research / library research ( library research ). This research is an effort to collect data based on a literature review as follows : scientific presentation carried out by selecting literature related to research (Hadi, 2000). Approach study this use intellectual biography , that is with tracing the life journey of the character in his intellectual field which includes journey career figure in field education, as well as influences internal and external factors that shape his thinking (Syafril, 2017). The analysis technique uses the method content analysis , to reveal the content of Hamka's thoughts (Sutarna & Anwar, 2020). Analysis This study is used to find out and examine Hamka's thoughts about personality and character in connect as personal counselor.
3. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Name Hamka is acronym from Haji Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah. Hamka is born in Sungai Batang, Maninjau, West Sumatra on February 17, 1908. Hamka was born from a devout family. His father, Haji Abdul Karim Amrullah, otherwise known as "Hajj" Apostle", is figure cleric which famous and Becomes pioneer movement islah ( tajdid ) in Minangkabau, and a major figure in the reform movement that brought about Islamic reform in Indonesia Sumatra West (Hamka, 2013). Hamka grow and big in his village in Sumatra west, he grew up in conditions full of inner turmoil, because there was a conflict between the adat and people young in application teachings Islam in Minangkabau.
In developing his knowledge and knowledge, Hamka tends to study it self-taught. Not only related to religious knowledge, but also various fields others, such as philosophy, literature, history, sociology, politics, psychology and society (Hamka, 2013). All knowledge is studied and associated with the findings and conditions that exist is happening and felt by Hamka in his life. Likewise with thoughts Hamka about personality, where Hamka wrote several books related to personality and wrong the only one is book personal Great (Fitri, 2020). According to Hamka personality interpreted become two meaning that is:

This set of traits can be learned from communication and individual interactions in the social environment starting from the family. In a family environment, education of mothers, fathers, as well as in the school environment, teachers, colleagues, and the environment society, all of them are teachers who form the attraction of strong or weak personality the individual (Hamka, 2019)
In Guidance and Counseling the personality of the counselor remains a very vital thing and is very important in demonstrating the success of Guidance and Counseling services.
Where the personality of the counselor will show who he is, his insight, friendliness, sincerity heart, dark chest, patience, openness, politeness and the warmth in operate Duty as as profession helper (helping professionals ). Thing this means counselor work relieve problem client and develop potency which there is on self client the for more independent in relieve the problem the (Amen & Counseling, 2019).

So with thereby client and Public general can see counselor as personal which professional. Furthermore, Cavanaugh explained that counselors must have the
Ability to serve as model and influencer (the ability to serve as role models and leaders or people who influential), this ability is important especially with the credibility of the counselor in the eyes of the client (Cavanaugh, 1982). Thus the courage of a counselor is needed in successful implementation of Guidance and counseling services in various settings, both school nor outside school, individual or group.

Wisdom is a solid pillar of personal growth. Emergence wisdom is because knowledge, determination heart, and because putting something on the place, as well as view something based on its value. Person which wise appropriate his opinion, far-sighted and good in his interpretation. Wisdom is the joint of life which main in uphold the personal quality tall. And from this growing morals as joints main life (Hamka, 2019). ways attitude wise from individual which could applied by counselor in carry out guidance services and counseling are as follows: Be prepared and not rushed, Knowledge and experience, Clever scholars and firm and persistent (Hamka, 2019). Counselors must be wise in accept clients with all their strengths and weaknesses, without giving an assessment ( non-judgmental ).
Wisdom counselor in work help client, in in between showing a warm attitude, being able to understand the condition of the counselee being helped, value client, and self-revealing, as condition facility which could help change what happened to client (Gleading & Samuel, 2012).
Look at Good
Absolute truth, absolute goodness, absolute truth, and absolute justice absolute only one. Just looking for the good, the blameless in nature this, no will meet. Health Body
The health of the body has a great influence on the health of the mind. Is not that a healthy mind that we will bring to the community and social life. Thought healthy is a healthy person. A healthy body makes a happy heart and joy is a lamp of light for the darkness of the path of life that is taken. Health body is related to body cleanliness and love of cleanliness (Hamka, 2019). More carry on Hamka explain that Prophet Muhammad as Rasulullah said "Really " GOD is clean and like very on cleanliness" (Aditia, 2020) . Then as a health counselor becomes something very important that referred to as psychosocial somatic health well being, which is the resultant of 4 factors, namely: 1) environment, 2) behavior, 3) heredity or descendants, and 4) health care service (Rosmalina, 2019). Thus, the implementation of counseling Ideally occurs within the settings education (formal) just, but also in all aspect life man. In other words, in interacting with one another, the counselor must have: personal and healthy condition. In this case, healthy means physically and mentally healthy mental health. The psychological state of a good counselor, a counselor who has health good psychological characteristics, achieve satisfaction of their needs, process counseling is not influenced by past experiences and personal experiences outside process counseling that no have implication important in counseling.

Communication skills and being wise in this attitude will be the basic foundation in the success of implementation service Guidance and Counseling this.

4. CONCLUSION

The personality qualities of an effective counselor are: what form of excellence, knowledge, insight, skills, and values owned itself. Counseling as a profession in the implementation of its services is required standard professionals, for counselor there is a number of quality and competence which must mastered in work, one of which is personality competence. Hamka is also known as an intellectual who has a lot of knowledge in various fields, both in the field of religion and in the general field, so that he was given a different predicate from famous scientists. Hamka's thoughts on hope it can be the basis in the implementation of Guidance and Counseling services where The various characteristics that must be mastered are related to the field of education he is pursuing as well as the expertise it has in order to achieve the implementation of the Guidance and Counseling services that are ideal.
