Phase 3: Filling in coursework and speaking test forms
Phase 3: Filling in coursework and speaking test forms
Video for Cambridge Exams Officers transcript
When you send us samples of internally assessed work, you must include a printout of your internally assessed marks, as well as all the forms specified in the samples database.
Depending on the component, these might include a Coursework Assessment Summary Form, a Working Mark Sheet or an Oral Examination Summary Form.
You can access all the forms from the samples database.
We recommend you complete them on screen with the teacher who carried out the assessment.
The forms must include the marks of all candidates entered for the component, not just the marks of candidates in the sample.
If only one teacher was involved in the assessment, enter the breakdown of marks and fill in the ‘Total Mark’ column of the form. The marks in this column must match the marks you submit to us through CIE Direct or the Internal Assessment Mark Sheet (MS1).
If more than one teacher was involved in the assessment, you must also enter the standardised marks in the ‘Internally Moderated Mark’ column of the form. The marks in this column must match the marks you submit to us.
The forms are interactive so they will tell you if you have entered a mark that exceeds the maximum.
Check your form carefully. Any errors could delay the moderation process.
Once the form is complete, print and place it in the grey return packet with the samples of work and a copy of your internally assessed marks.
Attach the correct bar-coded label to the front of the packet.
Place the packets in an outer package and attach the address label, checking you have included all the items on the list.
Return your samples using a reputable courier.
Don’t forget to keep a copy of all forms.
