characters are well described and consistent.The plot is interesting,intriguing,full of twists,of rollercoaster,with a great sense of responsibility for the family,a great devotion between the lovers,boiling sex scenes,well described fights and the preparation to the fights,the state of mind with which the protagonist face the fight,the turmoil and insecurities of feelings,the difficulties to make decisions,to face uncertainty and to survive extreme and sad situations...in short in this book we have all we can want and more!!!

Wow!! Duncan and Dee...the heat...oh the heat and the Alphaness (is that even a word? well it should be!) in this book is off the chart! I've always been a sucker for MMA Romance books and this one did not disappoint. Add to it the fact that Dee's dad is a mafia boss and my heart just about exploded!!
This is my first Emilia Kincade book and after reading it i proceeded to one click the living daylights out of the rest of her books! You will not be disappointed in this book! It has grit, sex, romance and crime! It is sizzling and heartwarming all at once. you will feel for Duncan and Dee and the struggles they have to endure.
Emily's writing is amazing and she is able to make you feel what her characters are going through. I am so happy that i discovered her as an author and can't wait to read more about Duncan and Dee in the future! ARC review!

Really enjoyed this book about Duncan and Dee! I really loved Duncan :) he was loyal, fierce, protective, loving alpha! He wasn't a manwhore but devoted to Dee from the start. They met when he was 18 and she was 16. Dee's dad is a mob boss and adopts Duncan. He trains him to become the best underground fighter for 2 years and that's where the story begins. There isn't any angst or any other love interests. He and Dee are in a secret relationship and are very much in love. But two years later she becomes pregnant and doesn't tell him due to some unexpected reason. Don't want to spoil the rest so you'll have to read it! ;) Oh and if you've read her other book, Uncaged, you'll see some of those characters in this book! Definitely recommend this book!
The only thing that bugged me is that Dee never says she loves him back even though Duncan does a few times.
