Penelitianinibertujuanuntukmelihathubunganantarapemahamankodeetikpustakawa ndenganperilakukerjapustakawan di Perpustakaan UPI danPerpustakaan ITB. Dilandasiolehpustakawandalammelaksanakantugasprofesional,
merekaharusmemperhatikandanmenerapkansikapdannormaperilaku yang sesuaidengankodeetikpustakawan.
Penelitianinimenggunakanmetodedeskriptifkorelasionaldenganpendekatankuantita tif. Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakaninstrumenpenelitianberupaangket. Teknikpengambilansampel yang digunakanadalahsampling jenuhdengansampel yang digunakansebanyak 25 orang. Hasil yang diperolehpemahamankodeetikpustakawanmemilikihubungan yang kuatterhadapperilakukerjapustakawan.

This study aims at examining the correlations between the understanding of the code of ethics of librarians and the librarians performance behaviour in one library at Indonesia University of Education and Bandung Technological Institute. Ruled by a librarian in performing professional duties, they must observe and perform the attitudes and behavioral norms in accordance with the code of ethics of librarians. This research employed a correlational descriptive method with quantitative approach. The technique of data collection used research instrument in the form of questionnaire. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling in which the number of samples was 25 people. The results show that the understanding of the code of ethics of librarians has a strong relationship to the librarians performance behavior. The test results regarding the understanding of the code of ethics of librarians on the librarians performance behavior showed that basic attitude sub-variable of librarians have an adequate correlation, sub variable relationship librarians with users has a strong correlation, sub variable relationship between librarians have a strong correlation, and sub-variables of personal appearance has a strong correlation. It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship with strong category between the understanding of the code of ethics of librarians on the librarians performance behaviourofat the library of Indonesia University of Education and Bandung Technological Institute.
