As human beings we all have feelings about ourselves, which could motivate us to do certain things. Self-awareness is one of the trigger that support us to activate our skills in knowing better about the self such as feelings, behavior, emotions and thoughts. As a dancer it is important to be self-aware because dancers use most of their body parts to make a movement. They achieve their goals in life by being a success dancer, and to reach their dream it is important for them to study about the dance and also about their own self-awareness.
Indonesia has been one of the greatest countries among others that have a great sense of art because of the diversity of cultures, and also tries to provide the sense of art in universities such as; Institut Kesenian Jakarta, a popular university based in Jakarta.
The objective of this study is to examine the correlation between self-awareness
