PANGAJARAN MACA CARPON DI SMP

2)ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih banyaknya siswa yang merasa kesulitan
ketika mengerjakan soal-soal yang diberikan oleh guru, ketika memasuki proses
evaluasi pemahaman membaca
carita pondok
(carpon)
atau dalam bahasa
Indonesia biasa disebut dengan cerita pendek (cerpen). Proses evaluasi ini
merupakan hal yang cukup penting, karena dengan ini bisa diketahui sejauh mana
kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur intrinsik cerpen. Penelitian
ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas
tarucing cakra
sebagai
alat evaluasi dalam pengajaran membaca cerpen, selain itu juga untuk mengetahui
sejauh mana kemampuan mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur intrinsik cerpen siswa
kelas VII SMP Yadika Cicalengka tahun ajar 2012-2013
.
Metode yang digunakan
dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini adalah teknik tes. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar
tes tulis dalam bentuk
tarucing cakra
. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan
bahwa (1) Tes I jumlah soal yang valid ada 10, dan yang tidak valid ada 5 soal.
Sedangkan dalam Tes II jumlah soal yang valid ada 13 dan yang tidak valid 2
soal; (2) dari hasil uji reliabilitas, tes I dan tes II dinyatakan reliabel. Hal ini

Cicalengka tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 dikategorikan sudah mampu. Hal ini
diketahui dari nilai rata-rata kelas yang diperoleh pada tes I yaitu 70 dan pada tes
II yaitu 77,50.

FOR EVALUATION IN READING SHORT STORIES LESSON
AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

2)ABSTRACT
This research is motivated by the students who find some difficult in answering the questions given by the teacher when they are having the evaluation process of short stories reading comprehension. This evaluation process is quite important, it’s because can know the students ability to identify intrinsic elements of the short stories. This research aims to know the validity and reliability of tarucing cakra as a teaching equipment the evaluation of reading short stories, and also to determine to extend ability to identify intrinsic elements of a short story students of class VII B Yadika Cicalengka junior high school academic years 2012/2013. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The technique used in this study is a test technique. The instruments used were in the form of a written test sheet tarucing cakra. The result of this research conclude that (1) in the first test, there 10 valid numbers and 5 invalid numbers, whereas in the second test there are 13 valid numbers and 2 invalid numbers; (2) from the test reliability results, the test I and test II declared reliable. This known by the rKR20price of
each test and then compared with the price of rtable. The price of first test shows that rKR20
is 5,47 and rKR20 of second test is 3,05 and price of rtable is 0,312. Based on the result,
Test I it appears that rKR20 ≥ rtable. These result mean that first test and second test are
reliable; (3) from the results of the test I and test II can be known that the class VII B Yadika Cicalengka junior high school, school year 2012/2013 can be categorized been able to identify the elements of the intrinsic carpon. it is known from the results of the average class obtained from the test I is 69,13 and the test II is 77.53.
