2 DESKRIPSI MATA KULIAH

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Mata kuliah ini berisi tentang: pengetahuan teori-teori arsitektur lokal (Indonesia) dan global (di luar Indonesia), beserta seluruh aspek-aspeknya. Lewat analisis dan pembahasan yang komprehensif, peserta akan dapat memahami fenomena yang ada dalam praktek arsitektur lokal dan global yang mempengaruhi teori-teori arsitektur. Diskusi menekankan cara kritis untuk memahami semua aspek teori-teori arsitektur lokal dan bagaimana relasinya dengan konteks global.

This course contains about: knowledge of of local (Indonesia) and global (outside Indonesia) architectural theories, as well as its main aspects. Through a comprehensive analysis and discussion, students will understand the phenomenon that exists in the local and global architecture practices which was affecting the knowledge of architectural theories. The discussion emphasizing a critical way to understand all of the aspects of the local architectural theory and how its relation to a global context.

Tujuan Pembelajaran

Mata kuliah ini bertujuan mempersiapkan peserta untuk dapat berpikir kritis melalui pemahaman teori arsitektur lokal dalam konteks global. Peserta diharapkan akan memperoleh:

 Pengetahuan Berpikir Kritis :

Mata Kuliah ini akan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui literatur, presentasi dan diskusi tentang isu penting dari teori-teori arsitektur lokal dalam konteks global

 Pengetahuan Berkomunikasi:

Mata Kuliah ini akan meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi melalui partisipasi dalam diskusi kelas dan pekerjaan rumah berdasarkan analisis kritis mengenai teori-teori arsitektur

 Pengetahuan untuk Bertanggung Jawab secara pribadi:

Ketrampilan ini akan mengajarkan tanggung jawab pribadi dengan mengaitkan perilaku individu dengan etika yang mempengaruhi praktek arsitektur lokal

This course aims to preparing the students to be able to think critically through understanding of local architectural theories in a global context. Students will obtain :

 Critical Thinking Knowledge :

The course will enhance critical thinking skills through readings, presentations and discussions of key ideas of local architectural theories in a global context

 Communication Knowledge :

The course will enhance communication skills through participation in class discussions and a home work with a critical analysis concerning local and global architectural theories

 Personal Responsibility Knowledge :

The course will teach personal responsibility by relating individual behaviour to the ethical which was affect local architectural practises

 Social Responsibility Knowledge :

The course will expose students to the social dimensions of local architectural practises with an understanding of the different approach of architectural theories at global context

Hasil Pembelajaran

Setelah menyelesaikan mata kuliah ini peserta akan mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan :

 Mampu mengidentifikasi dan memahami seluruh aspek (mengapa dan bagaimana) teori-teori arsitektur di Indonesia dalam konteks global

 Mampu menerapkan dan menganalisis isu dan idea penting tentang teori-teori arsitektur lokal dan global

 Mampu mengevaluasi dan membuat pendapat ilmiah mengenai bagaimana kondisi teori-teori arsitektur di Indonesia.

Learning Outcome

After completing the course the student will obtain knowledge and skill to:

 Be able to identify and understand the internal and external aspects of local architectural theories in a global context

 Be able to implement and analysis key ideas of local and global architectural theories

 Be able to evaluate and create scientific opinion concerning the condition of local architectural theories.

3 METODE / PENDKATAN PEMBELAJARAN

 2 (dua) jam kuliah klasik setiap dua minggu sekali. Sebelumnya peserta akan diberikan bahan bacaan yang akan dibahas dalam perkuliahan

 Semua peserta harus membuat evaluasi dan presentasi untuk tiap sesi kuliah dua minggu sekali

Course Methods

 3 (three) hours classical lectures every two-weeks. Student will be given reading materials that will be discussed in the lecture

 Each students should make evaluation and presentation on each lectures session every two weeks

Materi kuliah yang harus dibaca dan dievaluasi adalah seluruh teks kuliah atau teks ajar yang diberikan [lihat tiap subjek]

Siswa diminta untuk menganalisis, mengevaluasi topik kuliah dan kemudian mengembangkan topik berdasarkan referensi bacaan yang diberikan.

5 PENILAIAN

Komponen penilaian akhir akan ditentukan sebagai berikut:

 Tugas : 50%. Topik tugas individual akan diberikan setelah UTS

 UTS : 20%. Peserta bebas memilih bahan UTS dari salah satu topik yang telah dibahas

 UAS : 30%. Materi untuk UAS akan ditentukan kemudian Grading Policy

Final GradingComponent will be determined as follows :

 Assignment : 50%. The topic of individual assignments will be given after Mid-Test

 Mid-Test : 20%. Students are free to choose Mid-Test material from one of the lecture topics that has been discussed

Persyaratan Kehadiran

Pada prinsipnya, semua peserta harus hadir di setiap kuliah. Jika tidak bisa hadir, wajib menjelaskan alasan ketidakhadiran melalui surat resmi. Jika dosen telah memasuki kelas, para peserta yang datang terlambat, tidak diizinkan untuk mengikuti kegiatan kelas. Sebaliknya, jika dosen terlambat sampai 30 menit tanpa pemberitahuan sebelumnya, semua peserta dianggap hadir

Attendance Requirements

In principle, all students must be present at each lecture, one who can not attend, are obliged to explain the reason of absence through a formal letter.If the lecturer has entered the classroom, the students who come after, are not permitted to attend the class. Conversely, if a lecturer was late until 30 minutes without prior notice, all students are considered present.
