TEACHERS’ DIFFICULTIES IN TEACHING USING ENGLISH
IN INTERNATIONAL CLASS OF ECONOMIC FACULTY

ABSTRACT
This paper discuses the use of English in teaching students in Economic Faculty. Since English is a foreign languange, there are many difficulties that occured in class and had to be faced by the teacher. This study attempted to answer the research question, “What
are the teachers’ difficulties in teaching using English in international class of the
Economic department?”. The participants of this research were three teachers of ICMAP class in Economic Faculty. The method for data collecion used in this research was descriptive method with observation and interview. Semi-structured interview was used. The finding showed that there were seven difficulties faced by the teachers: classroom management, communication with students, teachers confidence, students’ English ability, teaching strategy and method, motivating students, and making lesson plan.
