Sampoerna Announces Leadership Succession Plan
JAKARTA, September 5, 2016 – PT HM Sampoerna Tbk. ( Sampoerna /IDX: HMSP), an affiliate of PT Philip Morris Indonesia and part of Philip Morris International Inc. ( PMI /NYSE and Euronext Paris: PM), announced today that Mr. Paul Nor a Ja elle ill step do as “a poer a’s Preside t Director and be replaced by Mr. Mindaugas Trumpaitis, currently Managing Director of PMI’s Canadian affiliate Rothmans, Benson & Hedges Inc. This change in leadership will be effective and ratified through an Extraordinary General Meeting on November 18, 2016, which will be announced separately. Mr. Janelle will retur to PMI’s Operatio s Center in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Mr. Trumpaitis has led Rothmans, Benson & Hedges Inc. for the past three years after serving as Managing Director of PMI’s operatio s i Me i o for three years. He has also managed PMI’s business in the Baltic States and Finland.
