DIFFERENCES IN NOVEL PRIEST’S SELF ADJUSTMENT BASED ON GENDER

This study aimed to determine differences in adjustment between the male and female novels priest in Wonogiri, Central Java. The study was carried out considering the number of tasks that must be followed by a novel, as well as the individual characteristics that differ between male and female, making the process of adjustment between clergy male and female will differ from each other. The subjects in this study are 68 peoples, and the sampling was taken by using saturation sampling. The data was collected using the Adjustment Scale refers to the Fahmy’s theory (1982) on the characteristics of successful adjustment. Method of data collection in this study is using a Likert scale models, which consists of four response options answer. The data analysis method was used to discern adjustment to the novel priest is Independent Test Sample. The results obtained from these calculations is the value of t-test is 2.281 with a significance of 0.211 or p>0.05, which means there is no significant difference in adjustment between the male and female novel priest.
