PT. Bina Lintas Usaha Ekonomi (BLUE) is a renewable energy company based in Surabaya focusing on Solar PV systems for the B2B and B2C sectors.
It serves the B2B segment under the name of BLUEpx by offering EPC service that includes end-to-end service from consultation, design, installation, training, to Operation and Maintenance (O&M) activities. Meanwhile, in the B2C segment, BLUE operates an online marketplace called Warung Energi, which sells PV solar system products as well as home installation packages.
BLUE is also one of New Energy Nexus’ grant recipients in 2020 to develop a new product development prototype called Jajan Energi - a remote energy monitoring and payment system.
BLUE’s flagship project is the installation of Solar PV systems for schools, churches, and solar-powered water pumps for irrigation in the remote village of Oebau, East Nusa Tenggara where access to electricity was not previously available.

PT. Bina Lintas Usaha Ekonomi (BLUE) adalah perusahaan energi terbarukan berbasis di Surabaya yang berfokus pada sistem PLTS untuk sektor B2B dan B2C.
BLUE melayani segmen B2B di bawah nama BLUEpx dengan menawarkan layanan EPC end-to-end mulai dari konsultasi, desain, instalasi, pelatihan, hingga operasi dan pemeliharaan (O&M). Sementara itu, di segmen B2C, BLUE mengoperasikan online marketplace bernama Warung Energi, yang menjual produk PLTS serta paket instalasi rumah.
BLUE juga merupakan salah satu penerima hibah New Energy Nexus di tahun 2020 untuk mengembangkan prototipe pengembangan produk baru yang disebut Jajan Energi, yaitu sistem pembayaran dan pemantauan energi jarak jauh.
Proyek unggulan BLUE adalah pemasangan PLTS untuk sekolah, gereja, dan pompa air bertenaga surya untuk irigasi di desa terpencil Oebau, Nusa Tenggara Timur dimana akses listrik tidak tersedia sebelumnya.

Right People Renewable Energy (RPRE) is a certified B Corp providing renewable energy solutions in Singapore and Indonesia. RPRE’s services include energy audits, energy efficiency advisory, Solar and ESS EPC services, and post-commissioning operations and maintenance.
RPRE focuses on off-grid and on-grid commercial and industrial (C&I) clients that are still running on dirty, expensive, and aging diesel generators. Projects that have been commissioned by RPRE include the largest off-grid solar and battery system for an Indonesian dive resort (214.4 kWp Gangga Island Resort & Spa in Manado) and solar systems in Pulau Semakau’s floating fish farms which provide cost savings and a more stable round-the-clock clean energy for the local fish farmers.

Sumba Sustainable Solutions (3S) is a for-profit company based in Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara that aims to empower rural villages in the island by providing access to electricity and appliances for productive uses to create sustainable economic development and job creation. 3S primarily focuses on two main business activities:providing energy access to rural households through Solar Home Systems and Productive-Use Centres, and commercialization of bamboo, one of the natural resources available on the island. The company was founded in 2019 and has generated the following impact: 2,500 households with light and mobile phone charging capabilities; 100,000 hours of women’s labour saved through the usage of solar-powered rice and corn mills; 9,000 poles of bamboo purchased from local farmers; and job creations of 80 local employees in different capacities.

Sumba Sustainable Solutions (3S) adalah perusahaan komersial yang berbasis di Pulau Sumba, Nusa Tenggara Timur yang bertujuan untuk memberdayakan desa-desa di sana dengan menyediakan akses listrik dan peralatan untuk penggunaan produktif guna menciptakan pembangunan ekonomi berkelanjutan dan lapangan kerja. 3S berfokus pada dua kegiatan bisnis utama yaitu:

PT AIUEO Kreasi Energi (AKE, previously named Energi Persada) is a renewable energy company focusing in the biogas and waste-to-energy sector. In 2018-2019, as part of their partnership with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR), AKE successfully installed 345 units of 4 m³fixed-dome biogas reactors used for cooking, benefitting more than 300 families in rural areas in West Java.
The Smart Energy Program Grant has helped AKE to produce 10 units of the 1,400- liter biogas reactor using Rotomolding methods. The technique adds modularity to the production of biogas reactors. This, in turn, will speed up installation processes, increase reliability, and reduce footprint. More importantly, it helps enable the company in opening up new and previously untapped markets in the urban residential markets.
PT AIUEO Kreasi Energi (AKE, sebelumnya bernama PT Energi Persada) adalah perusahaan energi terbarukan yang fokus pada sektor biogas dan waste-to-energy. Pada tahun 2018-2019, sebagai bagian dari kemitraan dengan Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM), AKE berhasil memasang 345 unit reaktor biogas 4 m³ kubah tetap yang digunakan untuk kegiatan memasak. Proyek tersebut telah memberikan manfaat kepada lebih dari 300 keluarga di pedesaan di Jawa Barat.
Hibah program Smart Energy telah membantu AKE untuk memproduksi 10 unit reaktor biogas 1,400-liter dengan menggunakan metode Rotomolding.
Teknik ini meningkatkan modularitas pada produksi reaktor biogas yang akan mempercepat proses instalasi, meningkatkan keandalan, dan mengurangi jejak karbon. Selain itu, teknik ini memungkinkan perusahaan tersebut untuk membuka pasar baru yang sebelumnya belum tersentuh yaitu pasar perumahan kota.

Bio Energy Indonesia (Bionersia) focuses on developing a biogas system, comprises of portable biodigester, purification unit, and generator set. It holds a patented technology in biogas purification systems for rural areas.
The Smart Energy Program Grant has helped Bionersia to develop and execute the prototype 2.0 project, a set of purification units and biogas generators in Nongkojajar, East Java in late 2020. Enermo is a startup that provides energy usage visual modeling, statistical analysis, and integrated energy audit report for the C&I sector using an IoT platform. Using the Enermo platform, an energy service company (ESCO), financing companies or lenders, and industry can work together to finance energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, measure its impact, and record its carbon emission reduction.
Enermo received the Smart Energy Program Grant to accelerate the development of key features in its user dashboard and conduct trial runs in two different locations.
Enermo merupakan startup yang menyediakan model visualisasi pemakaian energi, analisis statistik, dan laporan audit energi yang terintegrasi untuk sektor komersial dan industrial dengan menggunakan teknologi IoT. Dengan memanfaatkan platform Enermo, perusahaan jasa listrik (ESCO), pemberi pinjaman dana, dan industri dapat bekerja sama untuk mendanai proyek efisiensi energi dan energi terbarukan, mengukur dampaknya dan mencatat reduksi emisi karbonnya.

For Better Electricity (Forbetric) is a startup that develops IoT-based energy efficiency devices (smart sockets) for various types of buildings. The smart sockets designed by Forbetric are able to control and automate the use of electronic devices such as air conditioners, lights, and other devices remotely through IoT. Forbetric also develops a mobile app that enables users to control and monitor electricity usage.
Forbetric received the Smart Energy Program Grant to build 30 pieces of smart socket (for field test) and develop a mobile app. The final product underwent performance testing at several office buildings in Bandung, West Java in early 2020.

For Better Electricity (Forbetric) adalah perusahaan startup yang mengembangkan perangkat efisiensi energi berbasis IoT (Smart Socket) untuk berbagai jenis bangunan. Smart socket yang dirancang oleh Forbetric dapat mengontrol dan mengotomatisasi penggunaan perangkat elektronik seperti AC, lampu, dan perangkat lainnya secara jarak jauh melalui IoT. Forbetric juga mengembangkan aplikasi seluler yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengendalikan dan memantau penggunaan listrik.
Forbetric menerima Hibah Program Smart Energy untuk membangun 30 buah smart socket dan mengembangkan aplikasi telepon genggamnya. Produk finalnya menjalani uji performa di beberapa gedung perkantoran di Bandung, Jawa Barat pada awal tahun 2020.

INOVASI DINAMIKA PRATAMA
Inovasi Dinamika Pratama is a startup with focus on enabling renewable energy- based rural electrification investments that allows sustainable rural economic development. It develops projects through feasibility studies that employ proprietary techno-social and commercial approaches, utilizing, among others, participatory methods. The projects it develops include designing and implementing smart microgrid systems, solar water pumping, power plant training to rural operators, and access to market for local commodities.
The Smart Energy Program Grant will be utilized to conduct a feasibility study (FS) of solar PV mini-grid investments in remote villages in Tojo Una Una, Central Sulawesi. The outcome of the FS will help to enable the next steps in installation and operation of solar PV mini-grid estimated at 500kWp to provide 24-hour electricity access to 3,500 villagers, surrounding public facilities (e.g. health clinics, schools, houses of worship), and modern patchouli essential oil steam distillation and processing facility.
Inovasi Dinamika Pratama adalah sebuah perusahaan startup yang berfokus untuk memungkinkan investasi elektrifikasi pedesaan berbasis energi terbarukan untuk pembangunan ekonomi pedesaan berkelanjutan.
Perusahaan tersebut mengembangkan proyek melalui studi kelayakan serta pendekatan tekno-sosial dan komersial dengan memanfaatkan metode partisipatif. Proyek-proyek yang dikembangkan meliputi mendesain dan mengimplementasikan smart microgrid system, pompa air tenaga surya, pelatihan pembangkit listrik untuk operator di daerah pelosok, dan akses ke pasar untuk komoditas lokal.
Hibah Program Smart Energy akan digunakan untuk melaksanakan studi kelayakan investasi minigrid PLTS di Desa Tojo Una Una, Sulawesi Tengah.
Hasil dari studi kelayakan ini akan memungkinkan langkah berikutnya dalam pemasangan dan operasi dari PLTS minigrid yang diestimasikan dapat menyediakan akses listrik 24 jam dengan kapasitas 500 kWp pada 3,500 penduduk desa, fasilitas sosial sekitar (seperti klinik kesehatan, sekolah, rumah ibadah), dan fasilitas distilasi uap dan pemrosesan minyak nilam.

Pendulum explores potential use of ocean wave energy as a renewable energy source. Pendulum aims to help fishery communities in Indonesia to reduce costs by reducing, or eliminating, the use of gasoline generators and using the more efficient wave energy generators instead.
The Smart Energy Program Grant has been utilized to develop a Proof of Concept (PoC) of the wave energy converter based on mass rotating technology (Pendulum).
The prototype was then tested on two locations in East Java in late 2020.

Pendulum merupakan startup yang mengeksplorasi potensi penggunaan energi gelombang laut sebagai sumber energi terbarukan. Pendulum bertujuan untuk membantu komunitas nelayan di Indonesia untuk menghemat biaya dengan cara mengurangi, atau menghilangkan, penggunaan generator bensin dan menggantinya dengan generator energi gelombang laut yang lebih efisien.
Hibah Program Smart Energy telah digunakan untuk mengembangkan Proof of Concept (“PoC”) dari konverter energi gelombang laut berdasarkan teknologi massa berputar (Pendulum). Prototipenya kemudian telah diuji pada dua lokasi di Jawa Timur pada akhir tahun 2020.
