Pengujian Sistem dan Analisa
Pada bab ini dilakukan pengujian berdasarkan data kuantitatif yang
bertujuan untuk mengetahui prosentase keberhasilan sistem Direct Tunnel.
Pengujian sistem yang dilakukan adalah :
4.1.1
Monitoring Performansi Data Counter
Optimasi jaringan adalah proses penjagaan / peningkatan kualitas dari
jaringan seluler. Setiap operator jaringan selular menetapkan suatu standar nilai
(parameter) Quality of Service (QoS) agar mencapai suatu KPI (Key Performace
Indicator) dioperator tersebut, dimana melalui nilai QoS ini dapat ditentukan baik
atau tidaknya kualitas suatu jaringan di tempat tertentu. Data-data mengenai QoS
yang terjadi diambil kemudian dibandingkan dengan nilai parameter standar.
Apabila terjadi ketidaksesuaian nilai yang terjadi di jaringan tersebut dengan
parameter standar maka perlu dilakukan tindakan optimasi jaringan. Adapun
parameter tersebut adalah PDP Success Rate.
PDP Success Rate
PDP Success Rate adalah angka keberhasilan proses berlangsungnya
hubungan atau attach pada jaringan GSM dari awal proses signalling sampai
dengan selesainya proses attach. Prosentase Attach Success Rate dapat dikatakan
bagus jika lebih besar dari 90 % (prosentase KPI yang disetujui oleh operator
khususnya Indosat adalah 95 %) dari seluruh atttach yang terjadi di area yang
bersangkutan.
Cara Pengujian :
Pengujian PDP Success Rate dilakukan menggunakan handset dengan
setting APN yang akan diproses.

Analisa :
Dari hasil monitoring performansi diatas, diketahui bahwa untuk RNC
Surabaya sudah berhasil diaktifkan Direct Tunnel sekitar jam 03:00 WIB. Dengan
demikian dapat disimpulkan performansi PDP success rate untuk SGSN Surabaya
sudah berhasil dengan baik karena lebih besar dari 90 %.

Analisa :
Berdasarkan Listing program dan CPU Load diatas, System check, CPU load,
Attach & PDP Success ( from traffica veiws) terlihat normal. Sehingga dapat
disimpulkan bahwa selain dapat mengurangi jumlah penghubung transmisi yang
mahal, beban traffik yang terdapat di masing-masing SGSN berkurang.
Perbandingan data throughput sebelum dan sesudah 3GDT di
implementasikan.
