the Script of Barrack Obama’s Victory Speech 2012 on Election Night.” The

In English one of types of meaning is Interpersonal meaning. It is realized by mood and modality. In this research I focus on mood. Mood is the meaning that through social relations that are created and maintained. The structure of Mood is subject and finite plus the polarity. There are two types of mood. Those are Indicative Mood and Imperative Mood. Indicative Mood is divided into two types; those are Declarative Mood and Interrogative Mood. We can identify mood types from many sources. One of them is from someone speech. In this research, I take Barrack Obama’s victory speech as the data sources. Speech is the act of giving a formal spoken communication to an audience. To make understand the readers what the speech is telling about, we can use script as the way to provide information. Script is written text of a play, film, speech, talk, or broadcast. In this research is the script of Barrack Obama's victory speech 2012 on election night.
The objectives of this research are: (1) to find out the mood types used in the script of Barrack Obama’s victory speech 2012 on election night. (2) to find out mood types realized in the script of Barrack Obama’s victory speech 2012 on election night. (3) to find out the types of mood that are mostly used in the script of Barrack Obama’s victory speech 2012 on election night.
Descriptive qualitative research is used as the design of research to reach the objectives of this research. The data of this research is the mood types found in the script of Barrack Obama’s victory speech 2012 on Election Night. Meanwhile, the data source of this research is the script itself.
The findings showed that the percentages of the mood types found in the script of Barrack Obama’s victory speech 2012 on election night are declarative 94.53%, interrogative 5.08%, and imperative 0.39%. Then, in the end of this research there is a fact that the mood types mostly used in the text of speech is declarative mood.

Dalam Bahasa Inggris salah satu tipt-tipe arti adalah Interpersonal meaning. Hal itu direalisasikan dengan mood dan modality. Dalam penelitian ini saya fokus pada mood. Mood adalah arti melalui hubungan sosial yang diciptakan dan dipelihara. Susunan mood adalah Subjek dan finet beserta dengan polaritinya. Ada dua macam tipe mood; yaitu indicative mood dan imperative mood. Indicative mood dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu declarative mood dan interrogative mood. Kita bisa menganalisis tipe-tipe mood dari berbagai sumber. Salah satunya adalah pidato seseorang. Dalam penelitian ini, saya mengambil pidato kemenangan Barrack Obama sebagai sumber data. Pidato adalah pemberian komunikasi lisan kepada pendengar. Untuk memudahkan pendengar dalam memahami pidato, kita bisa menggunakan skrip. Skrip adalah teks tertulis dari, film, pidato, atau talkshow. Dalam penelitian ini adalah skrip pidato kemenangan Barrack Obama 2012 pada malam pemilihan.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk menemukan tipe- tipe mood yang digunakan dalam skrip pidato kemenangan Barack Obama 2012 pada malam pemilihan. (2) untuk menemukan tipe-tipe mood yang direalisasikan dalam skrip pidato kemenangan Barack Obama 2012 pada malam pemilihan. (3) untuk menemukan tipe mood yang paling banyak digunakan dalam skrip pidato kemenangan Barack Obama 2012 pada malam pemilihan. (2) untuk.
Untuk memperoleh hasil yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian, maka digunakanlah desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini adalah tipe- tipe mood yang ada di dalam skrip pidato kemenangan presiden Barrack Obama 2012 pada malam kemenangan. Sedangkan sumber datanya adalah skrip pidato tersebut, keseluruhan isi dari pidato.
Hasil analisis data, menunjukkan presentase tipe-tipe mood yang ditemukan di skrip pidato kemenangan Barrack Obama adalah declarative 94,53%, interrogative 5,08%, dan imperative 0,39%. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa tipe mood yang paling banyak digunakan dalam teks pidato tersebut adalah declarative mood.
