QoS merupakan isu utama dalam protokol IP sebagai prinsip jaringan transmisi telekomunikasi saat ini. Penyebaran QoS IP pada fixed dan mobile network yakni dalam arsitektur 3G dan 4G harus diatur dan direncakan sehingga dapat melewatkan trafik tripleplay.
Training ini mengkaji bagaimana QoS diukur dalam jaringan IP, dan membahas teknis serta protokol yang digunakan untuk mengirim QoS yang sesuai dengan standar layanan. Selain, pemahaman yang detail tentang konsep QoS, peserta juga melakukan praktik berupa perencanaan dan pengukuran QoS menggunakan software Wireshark.
