Abstract
Borobudur Museum is one amenities of tourism attractions at the Borobudur Temple site. This museum serves as the visitor source of information in which cultural issues and the conservations of the temple are displayed. The tour guides in the museum serve as a benefit to teach tourists about the conservations in Borobudur Temple. The purpose of this study is to investigate the significance of Borobudur Museum tour guides presence. The tour guides are a big contribution to the management of Borobudur Temple. The research method used was qualitative to a one on one interview. The conclusion of this study was to find out if the tour guides were delivering quality information to the guests visiting the museum and making sure they had a good experience at the Borobudur Museum. Regardless of the lack of Human Resources, which had been a recent problem, museum management did their best in providing outstanding service. The strategies used by the tour guides bring them great outcomes in composing the historical stories and presenting the information to the visitors. The tour guides have been successful in delivering the information to the tourists visiting Borobudur Museum.
