1. INTRODUCTION

Bebantenan is one of offering in carrying out of religious Balinese Hinduism ceremony. Bebantenan is called as upakara too. It has many function and purpose in the ceremony.

Nowadays, there are many type of bebantenan in Bali. It is affected by the culture and the art of Bali area local wisdom, for example, Canang. Canang had many form because it were affected by the culture in Bali Regency. However, these canang had the same meaning.

Wide bebantenan usage in Bali demanded Balinese Hinduism understood how to build this banten. Banten developing is complicated and difficult. Therefore, nowadays, youngest Balinese Hinduism usually bought upakara to the expert because they cannot build it by their self.

In the other hand, the understanding of the upakara by youngest Balinese Hinduism is very important because it will perpetuate upakara or bebantenan in Bali.

Hence, this research trying to use information technology to develop e-learning bebantenan on-line which will help ordinary Balinese Hinduism learn bebantenan easily.

2. ANALYSIS

Modeling of bebantenan is observed comprehensively from banten classifications and equipments. This analysis phase uses recursion and tree methodology.

Recursion means a process that can call it self. Recursion is like procedure or function,

yet recursion can call it self. In the other hand, procedure or function should be called from procedure call or function call. Recursion constitutes important programming technique and modern programming language support this recursion technique.

Tree is a method to do modeling of the system. This structure had specific characteristic and usually is used describing hierarchies relationship of elements.

Bebantenan is modeled using tree method, which banten is grouped by the banten classifications, equipments and developing method, for example Daksina as can be seen in figure 1.

According to Yajnaprakrti lontar,

daksina symbolizes Hyang Guru/Hyang

Tunggal that is the other name of Siwa God. Daksina is classified as:

- Daksina Alit

Daksina alit contains one per each material.

- Daksina Pakakalan

Daksina pakakalan contents are two times of daksina alit contents.

- Daksina Krepa

It contents are three times of daksina alit contents.

- Daksina Gede

Daksina Gede contents are four times of daksina alit contents.

- Daksina Pamogpog or Galahan

It contents are five times of daksina alit contents.

ABSTRACT :Paradise Island is the names of Bali. It based on Balinese Hinduism culture. They

offer bebantenan to the God as one of the present in ca rrying out a religious Balinese Hinduism ceremony. Hindu priest used lontar as a written documentation, which it was been written in Sanskrit. Therefore, it was difficult to learn by ordinary Balinese. This research purpose was to develop bebantenan written documentation that using Information Technology (IT) hence as an e-learning bebantenan on-line. Three data structure method will be used in analysis and design phase. The implementation of this application based on web-based technology.As conclusion, e-learning bebantenan on-line application can be been accessed from internet. This system use Indonesian languages and can print detail bebantenan report. In addition, it application had a video and picture feature that teach the step of build bebantenan. Therefore, it helps ordinary Balinese Hinduism learn bebantenan easily.

Enjokan and tegtegan are putted on the daksina.

Figure 2 show the tree data structure of daksina banten. Daksina banten is used as one of example of analyzes and design phase bebantenan information system application.

3. Result and Discussion

Tree data structure methodology for bebantenan modeling can show the comprehensive of bebantenan. It describes both banten classification and properties. Banten properties consist of its material and equipment. Each banten classification has different properties.

Figure 6 show the modeling of bebantenan information system that had been implemented as banten e-learning bebantenan on-line. Tree data structure is implemented in application used recursive methodology.

Consideration in the design and built e-learning bebantenan on-line were observed from:

- Information of equipments, materials, and phase to built banten was difficult to find.

- E-learning bebantenan on-line can help people to understand and to learn banten development.

- To participate in the effort to

perpetuate Balinese Hinduism

culture.

4.1 Tree data structure can be used to analyze and design bebantenan system modeling. This method capable to describe standard

banten model that is both banten

classification and properties.

4.2 Implementation of tree data structure to this application uses table and recursion function that the deep tree implementation depend to the each banten.

4.3 E-learning bebantenan on-line is built using web based technology. Therefore, it can access from the internet easily.
