(a) any advantages and preferences which

countries; and

(b) any advantages and preferences accorded

by Malaysia to Commonwealth countries,

the Republic of Ireland and the Union of

Burma.

Indonesian Government Representative for payment to be made within fourteen days in accordance with sub-paragraph 2 (iv) of the Annex, approval would normally be given.

(ii) When the Malaysian Approved Importer has made payment to the account of

the Indonesian Government Representative in accordance with sub-paragraph 2 (iv) of the Annex.I> he shall have discharged his entire obligation to the Indonesian exporter.

discussions held between the representatives of the Government of Indonesia and the

Government of Malaysia on Tourism during the negotiations on the Basic Arrangements on Trade and Economic Relations, and to request you to be good ·enough to confirm the fallowing understanding :

Both Parties realizing the desirability of promoting their respective tourist industries agree:

(i) to co-operate fully so as to benefit from the big and rapidly expanding potentials of international tourism; and

(ii) to facilitate a greater exchange of travel personalities between the two countries.

They also agree that the implementation of the above shall be left to the respective tourist organisations, both governmental and private, of the two countries.
