AMENDMENT TO THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 230/MPP/Kep/1/1997 ON GOODS SUBJECT TO THE IMPORT
TRADE SYSTEM AS ALREADY AMENDED BY THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE No. 406/MPP/Kep/I/1997 (Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 25/MPP/Kep/1/1998
dated January 21, 1998)
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE Considering:
a. that within the framework of national economic reforms with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of the domestic industry and ensuring the smooth flow of goods, it is deemed necessary to amend the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade on goods subject to the import trade system;
b. that for this purpose it is necessary to issue a decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade to this effect.
In view of:
1. Presidential Decree No. 50/1995 jo. Presidential Decree No. 45/1997 on the amendment of Presidential Decree No. 50 on the Board of Logistic Affairs; 2. The Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 230/MPP/Kep/7/1997 on
goods subject to the import trade system;
3. The Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 406/MPP/Kep/11/1997 on the amendment to Attachment 1 to the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 230/MPP/Kep/7/1997 on goods subject to the import trade system. DECIDES:
To stipulate:
DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE No.406/MPP/Kep/11/1 997
Article 1
1 . To revoke Article 3 of the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No.230/MPP/Kep/7/1997.
2. To amend Attachment 1 to the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No.230/MPP/Kep/7/1997, serial numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26. 27, 28, 29 and 30 as contained in Attachment 1 to this decree, to become those as contained in Attachment 11 to this decree so that the goods subject to the import trade system cover 169 tariff headings and 2 groups of waste/elements.
3. With the stipulation of this decree, all the other provisions laid down in the Decree of the Minister of Industryand Trade No.230/MPP/Kep/7/1997 and No.406/MPP/Kep/11/1997 shall remain valid.
Article 11
This decree shall come into force as from February 2, 1998.
For public cognizance, this decree shall be announced by publishng ft in the Stale Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
